Kyle Fletcher Announces He’s Cleared On May 27 AEW Collision

Kyle Fletcher Announces He’s Cleared On May 27 AEW Collision

Kyle Fletcher officially announced that he’s cleared to return to in-ring action during the May 27 AEW Collision, and it didn’t take long for things to explode afterward.

The moment happened after Mark Davis defeated Jack Perry in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament quarterfinals. Following the match, Don Callis grabbed the microphone and declared that Konosuke Takeshita was never truly “the chosen one” in the Don Callis Family.

Instead, Callis claimed it was always Fletcher. Fletcher then took over and revealed he is now 100% medically cleared for competition. He also made it clear there’s no fixing his relationship with Takeshita, admitting he wanted to reach the top alongside him but saying he has zero regrets about betraying him.

That immediately brought Takeshita out. Takeshita confronted Fletcher alongside members of The Conglomeration and Mark Briscoe, making it obvious this issue is far from over. The segment heavily teased Fletcher and Takeshita finally colliding now that Fletcher has officially been cleared to compete again.

AEW has been slowly building tension between the former allies, and Fletcher’s return announcement finally pushed things into the next phase. Takeshita also made his intentions clear during the confrontation — he wants Fletcher. With Fletcher now healthy enough to wrestle again, AEW suddenly has another major feud ready to go involving two of the company’s hardest-hitting stars.

David Finlay & Clark Connors Destroy Adam Copeland And Christian Cage On May 27 AEW Dynamite

David Finlay & Clark Connors Destroy Adam Copeland And Christian Cage On May 27 AEW Dynamite

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage got destroyed on the May 27 AEW Dynamite just moments after trying to celebrate their big tag title win.

The AEW World Tag Team Champions came to the ring following their brutal Double or Nothing victory over FTR and started joking around about bringing back their classic five-second pose from 25 years ago. Copeland even handed disposable cameras out to fans before things completely fell apart.

Out of nowhere, David Finlay and Clark Connors rushed the ring and started beating the hell out of both men. The attack got nasty fast. At one point, Finlay and Connors trapped Christian’s hand inside the steel steps and smashed it before continuing to beat down both champions in the ring. By the time it was over, Copeland and Christian were completely laid out as Finlay and Connors stood tall.

AEW wasted zero time setting up new enemies for the tag champs after their war with FTR, and Finlay and Connors definitely made an impact with the way they destroyed both guys.

Tommaso Ciampa Attacks Chris Jericho After Finally Beating Ricochet On AEW Dynamite

Tommaso Ciampa Attacks Chris Jericho After Finally Beating Ricochet On AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho finally got a win over Ricochet on AEW Dynamite — but he didn’t get to celebrate for very long before Tommaso Ciampa blindsided him after the match.

Jericho and Ricochet opened the May 27 AEW Dynamite/Collision special in Philadelphia with a singles match where everyone was banned from ringside. The match turned into a chaotic fight packed with counters, near falls, low blows, and finishers before Jericho finally put Ricochet away.

After surviving Ricochet’s offense, Jericho connected with the Judas Effect and followed it up with a Lionsault to secure the victory. The ending felt like a major moment for Jericho considering Ricochet had repeatedly gotten the better of him during their recent issues. But seconds after the bell rang, things completely changed. As Jericho was recovering from the match, Ciampa suddenly attacked him out of nowhere.

The post-match assault instantly caught the crowd off guard and seemingly set up Jericho’s next major feud coming out of Double or Nothing fallout. AEW didn’t waste time moving Jericho into another program after his issues with Ricochet, and Ciampa picking that moment to strike made a statement immediately.

Jericho may have finally beaten Ricochet, but AEW made it clear he isn’t getting any time to breathe before another fight lands in his lap.

Kevin Knight Destroys Mike Bailey On AEW Dynamite After Crowd Turns On Him

Kevin Knight Destroys Mike Bailey On AEW Dynamite After Crowd Turns On Him

Kevin Knight didn’t just explain his actions on on the May 27 AEW Dynamite — he completely snapped and beat the hell out of Mike Bailey in the middle of the ring.

Fresh off his shocking betrayal of Darby Allin at Double or Nothing, Knight came out on Dynamite trying to defend himself after flipping Allin’s stretcher over following the AEW World Title main event loss to MJF.

The crowd in Philadelphia immediately buried him. Before Knight could even properly explain himself, fans started unloading with loud “STFU” chants followed by “a**hole” chants as the arena completely turned against him.

Knight claimed Allin failed him and said he should have been the one in the main event instead. That only made the fans louder. Things went off the rails once Bailey walked out to confront him.

At first, Bailey tried talking sense into Knight. He told him his ambition was causing him to make reckless decisions and flat-out said betraying Allin was a mistake. Bailey even gave Knight a chance to apologize and fix things.

Knight answered with violence. As Bailey turned his back, Knight cracked him with a microphone shot that instantly dropped him. The crowd exploded as Knight kept the assault going, drilling Bailey again and leaving him laid out before casually walking away from the wreckage.

The segment completely cemented Knight’s new heel persona in AEW. Turning on Allin at Double or Nothing shocked fans, but brutalizing Bailey on live television took things to another level entirely. Knight now suddenly looks less like a frustrated undercard talent and more like somebody trying to force his way into the spotlight by any means necessary.

Do you think Kevin Knight’s beatdown of Mike Bailey made him one of AEW’s top new heels overnight? Let us know in the comments.

Live Fan Footage Confirms Jack Perry’s AEW Double or Nothing Bus Crash Wasn’t Pre-Taped

Live Fan Footage Confirms Jack Perry’s AEW Double or Nothing Bus Crash Wasn’t Pre-Taped

Jack Perry’s wild bus crash spot at AEW Double or Nothing was not pre-taped after all.

During Stadium Stampede, Perry drove a bus through the parking lot, smashed through a golf cart, and crashed into a car. Because the stunt happened outside the arena, a lot of fans thought AEW may have filmed it ahead of time. That theory is now dead.

Fan footage captured by Twitter user Joe Ferro confirmed the entire crash happened live during the pay-per-view as fans watched inside the venue. The footage quickly spread online after viewers realized AEW actually pulled off the dangerous stunt in real time instead of editing it into the show later.

Perry was part of the winning Stadium Stampede team alongside Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin. Their team defeated the Don Callis Family, The Demand, and The Dogs in one of the craziest matches of the night.

The bus crash instantly became one of the biggest moments from Double or Nothing, especially after the live footage surfaced proving it happened exactly as fans saw it on the broadcast.

What did you think about Jack Perry’s bus crash spot at Double or Nothing? Leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.

Mike Bailey Drops Multiple F-Bombs After Kevin Knight’s Heel Turn at AEW Double or Nothing

Mike Bailey Drops Multiple F-Bombs After Kevin Knight's Heel Turn at AEW Double or Nothing

Mike Bailey clearly didn’t take Kevin Knight’s actions well after AEW Double or Nothing, and his latest vlog made that very obvious.

After Kevin Knight turned on Darby Allin following the AEW World Title match, Bailey uploaded a new vlog to his YouTube channel showing his reaction to the main event and the aftermath. The video captured Bailey watching Knight’s shocking heel turn unfold, and he looked devastated by what he had just seen.

Bailey didn’t need a long explanation to get his feelings across. After watching Knight flip Darby’s stretcher and leave him in even worse shape, Bailey reacted with one word: “F***!”

The video then cut to Bailey inside his car with his wife, Veda Scott. Bailey was still clearly shaken by what happened, and he repeated the same reaction again: “F***!” Veda Scott then weighed in, making it clear that the fallout from Double or Nothing is far from over.

“Okay, you see all you saw what happened after the match. So, Wednesday going to be interesting.”

Bailey closed the video by yelling one more time, leaving no doubt about where his head was after Knight’s betrayal: “F*****!” The reaction came after Knight posted his own cryptic message on Twitter following Double or Nothing. Instead of explaining why he turned on Darby Allin, Knight kept things short and wrote only three dots.

Knight’s heel turn happened after Darby Allin defended the AEW World Title against MJF in a title versus hair match at Louis Armstrong Stadium. MJF won the match to begin his third reign as AEW World Champion, but the post-match chaos became one of the biggest talking points of the night.

As Darby was being carted out on a stretcher, Knight appeared near the entrance area. At first, it looked like he may have been checking on his friend, but he suddenly turned the stretcher over instead.

The moment even stunned MJF, who stood on the entrance ramp with his mouth open after watching Knight attack Darby. Knight had also given Darby a pep talk before the match, which now makes the betrayal look even more calculated.

Bailey’s reaction now gives AEW another thread to pull heading into Wednesday. With Veda Scott teasing that things will be “interesting,” all eyes are on how Bailey responds to his partner’s actions and whether Darby Allin will be in any condition to fire back. Kevin Knight may not be explaining himself yet, but Mike Bailey’s vlog made it clear that the fallout from Double or Nothing is just getting started.

What do you think Mike Bailey should do after Kevin Knight turned on Darby Allin? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments.

Fans Left Stranded After AEW Double or Nothing Runs Late in Queens

Fans Left Stranded After AEW Double or Nothing Runs Late in Queens

AEW Double or Nothing was a packed night in Queens, but the show’s late ending created a rough situation for fans trying to get home.

The pay-per-view took place at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, and the show was completely sold out. The event featured MJF winning back the AEW World Championship from Darby Allin, Kyle Fletcher returning and betraying Konosuke Takeshita, and several other major moments.

However, after the show ended, some fans ran into a serious problem getting home. One fan took to Twitter and uploaded a video showing a large crowd stuck outside after the event, claiming exits were shut down and there was no train access available.

The fan directly asked for help while tagging the show: “Ummmm pls help us #AEWDoN” The video showed tons of fans stranded after the event, leading the same fan to add that the situation was confusing and getting worse: “This is so bad, I’m confused”

The issue appears to have been tied to Double or Nothing running extremely late, which created problems for fans depending on public transportation after the show. AEW pay-per-views have often been known for long runtimes, but this time the length of the show had a direct impact on people trying to leave the venue safely and get home.

Double or Nothing may have been a major success from an attendance and storyline standpoint, but the post-show travel mess quickly became a talking point online. A sold-out crowd is great for AEW, but if fans are left stranded afterwards, that becomes a problem the company and venue may need to address going forward.

Do you think AEW needs to shorten its pay-per-views to avoid issues like this, or should venues plan better for late-night exits? Share your thoughts and feedback in the comments.

Kevin Knight Pulls Off Shocking Heel Turn At AEW Double Or Nothing

Kevin Knight Pulls Off Shocking Heel Turn At AEW Double Or Nothing

All Elite Wrestling brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium. The main event of the night was a brutal contest, but the company had another surprise in store after that.

Darby Allin put the AEW World Title on the line against MJF in a title versus hair match at Double or Nothing. In the end, MJF won the match to start his third reign as champion.

After the match was over, Kevin Knight came down as Darby Allin was getting carted off on a stretcher. Instead of being there for his friend, Kevin Knight turned the stretcher over. This was a big heel turn and a shocking surprise at the end of the show.

MJF just stood on the top of the entrance ramp with his mouth gaping open. Obviously, he didn’t see that heel turn coming for Kevin Knight, either.

Kevin Knight was the man who gave Darby Allin a pep talk before his match. Obviously, this was a plot to get him into that dangerous encounter. Now as a heel, it appears that Kevin Knight will have to deal with his actions.

Darby Allin probably won’t let this sit for long. That being said, he was also very banged up after this AEW World Title match at Double or Nothing. Only time will tell what is next, but that was a shocking way to close out the pay-per-view.

What’s your take on this heel turn at Double or Nothing? Did you see it coming? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

MJF Wins AEW World Title For Third Time At Double Or Nothing

MJF Wins AEW World Title For Third Time At Double Or Nothing

AEW brought Double or Nothing to the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. A few matches had titles on the line, but the AEW World Title had an interesting stipulation.

Darby Allin has been a fighting champion since he won the AEW World Title. MJF is a former champion who wants that gold back, and he’s made that no secret. At AEW Double or Nothing, the two pillars of AEW battled in a title vs hair match.

Darby Allin won the AEW World Championship for the first time by defeating MJF on the April 15, 2026 edition of Dynamite: Spring BreakThru. The victory capped off years of momentum for one of AEW’s most popular homegrown stars.

Since then, Darby Allin has successfully defended the title eight times against Tommaso Ciampa, Brody King, Kevin Knight, PAC, Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara, Mike Bailey. Then he had MJF to face once again.

This match went down at the end of a very long night. After the Stadium Stampede match concluded, the AEW World Title finally took center stage. First, Darby Allin had another special entrance for a pay-per-view.

Early into the match, Darby Allin crashed and burned on a high-risk dive to the outside. After that, MJF maintained control of the contest as Allin continued selling everything the Salt of the Earth did to him. MJF wanted to end this match, but Allin continued to press on.

Eventually, Darby Allin gained the upper hand once again, and then it was MJF’s turn to take some punishment. They kept going through a few near-falls, and fans were on their feet for this match as the energy mounted. Later on, Darby went for another suicide dive, but MJF pulled a cameraman in front of him, which distracted the ring crew as they led him off. Although the spot was almost blown, they carried on, and then MJF carried Darby up to the barber’s chair, and he grabbed the hair clippers. Before MJF could give Darby a shave, he attacked the Salt of the Earth and choked him out.

Then MJF was placed on a table as Darby Allin scaled the scaffolding. Then he nailed MJF with a Coffin Drop dive that exploded the table. The back of Darby Allin’s head was busted open in the process, and he dragged MJF to the ring. When they got back, Allin latched on a Scorpion Death Lock, but MJF was able to get out of it.

MJF started to get up as Darby Allin lay on the canvas. Before MJF could strike, Darby hit a Scorpion Death Drop, and then he climbed up for another Coffin Drop, but MJF knocked him off balance. Then MJF went to the top rope, and he nailed a top rope tombstone piledriver before getting the pin to win the AEW World Title for a third time.

Swerve Strickland Overcomes Bandido In Owen Hart Cup Tournament Match During AEW Double Or Nothing

Swerve Strickland Overcomes Bandido In Owen Hart Cup Tournament Match During AEW Double Or Nothing

AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, on May 24, as the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament continued with a quarterfinal showdown between Bandido and Swerve Strickland.

The match had the difficult task of following Will Ospreay vs. Samoa Joe, which had already blown the roof off the building. Then it was time for another tournament match.

Bandido brought his usual mix of speed and creativity, while Strickland wrestled with a more aggressive and focused approach throughout the match. Both men managed to keep the energy high with a fast-paced battle that felt important from the opening bell.

This match went the way that most fans would have expected. Both competitors came out of the gate very hot, and they kept the action up the entire time. Swerve carried on with his brutal reputation, as he showed Bandido no mercy in his assault.

Bandido sold the assault as Swerve Strickland stalked his opponent. This match carried on after Bandido kicked out of a double stomp from the top rope. They eventually battled on the ring apron, where Swerve took a reverse poisonrana to the floor from his masked opponent.

In the end, Sweve Strickland overcame Bandido to secure the clean pinfall. This was a hard-fought win, for sure, and it is certainly one that took a lot out of both stars in the match. Now, Swerve will take on the winner of Claudio and Brody King later on in the tournament.

The Men’s Owen Hart Cup has become one of AEW’s most prestigious tournaments since launching in 2022. Past winners, including Adam Cole, Ricky Starks, Bryan Danielson, and Hangman Page, have helped turn the tournament into a major stepping stone toward the AEW World Championship picture.

What’s your take on the Owen Hart Cup Tournament this year? Do you believe that they are on the right track? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Will Ospreay Beats Samoa Joe In Brutal Owen Hart Cup Tournament Match At AEW Double Or Nothing

Will Ospreay Beats Samoa Joe In Brutal Owen Hart Cup Tournament Match At AEW Double Or Nothing

AEW brought Double or Nothing to the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. The event was one impressive matchup after another, as Tony Khan’s company impressed with their offering.

The Men’s Owen Hart Cup continued at Double or Nothing with a massive quarterfinal matchup between Samoa Joe and Will Ospreay. With a future world title opportunity tied to the tournament, the match carried major stakes before the bell even rang.

Will Ospreay started this match out by jumping Samoa Joe in the corner. Eventually, the two found themselves outside the ring, where Joe took control of things.

Joe brought his usual power-heavy style and slowed the pace whenever he could, while Ospreay relied on speed and explosive offense to survive. The crowd stayed behind Ospreay throughout the match as he kept finding ways to escape Joe’s submissions and counters.

Samoa Joe kicked out after a Styles Clash and a Hidden Blade. Then Joe hit a snap powerslam on Will Ospreay when he went for another Hidden Blade. Eventually, Samoa Joe had a Conquina Clutch locked onto Ospreay, but Will was able to fight on.

Samoa Joe kicked out at one after a Hidden Blade, but then Ospreay nailed a second one to win the match. That means Will Ospreay will advance in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament, making him one step closer to August 30, when the final match will go down at Wembley Stadium. Ospreay will face the winner of Mark Davis and Jungle Jack Perry in the semifinals.

The Men’s Owen Hart Tournament has become one of AEW’s most important yearly events, with past winners including Adam Cole, Ricky Starks, Bryan Danielson, and Hangman Page. A win here moves someone one step closer to adding their name to that list and getting a huge opportunity on one of AEW’s biggest events of the year.

Jon Moxley Retains AEW Continental Championship In Brutal Contest At AEW Double or Nothing

Jon Moxley Retains AEW Continental Championship In Brutal Contest At AEW Double or Nothing

AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with several championships on the line. The AEW Continental Championship match also came with a twist, as Jon Moxley defended against Kyle O’Reilly in a no time limit match.

O’Reilly earned the match after taking Moxley to a time-limit draw on the May 20 Dynamite and Collision special. That match went nearly 20 minutes, and since O’Reilly survived until the clock ran out, he got his shot at the title.

This was not just about the title, either. Moxley had injured O’Reilly months earlier, so Kyle came in looking for payback as well as the championship. With no time limit in place, Moxley had no clock to save him this time.

This match lived up to Jon Moxley’s reputation, and Kyle O’Reilly’s too. The smashmouth style included a lot of brawling and risky spots mixed into things. Eventually, Moxley got the upperhand, and he picked his opponent apart with brutal execution.

Kyle O’Reilly took a fair amount of abuse from Moxley, but then he was able to take down the former Dean Ambrose to even the playing field. That didn’t last long, as they traded advantage, with both competitors selling the brutality of the match.

At one point, they had ankle locks on each other as they lay on the mat. In the end, Moxley was able to retain his title, and then he celebrated in his usual manic fashion.

What’s your take on Jon Moxley’s current role in AEW? Do you think he’s better off with Tony Khan’s company? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Kyle Fletcher Returns To Ruin Konosuke Takeshita’s International Title Win At Double or Nothing

Kyle Fletcher Returns To Ruin Konosuke Takeshita's International Title Win At Double or Nothing

AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with several championships on the line. While the AEW World Title match had a stipulation attached to it, the AEW International Championship also brought a match between two members of The Don Callis Family.

Kazuchika Okada defended the AEW International Championship against Konosuke Takeshita. Okada entered as champion, while Takeshita came in looking to turn a title shot into a shift within the group. With Don Callis tied to both men, the match carried title stakes and tension inside the family.

This match was years in the making, and it started off with a bunch of “Holy sh*t’ chants and cheers from fans before they even touched. Then they started things off by trading shots to see who would start the match with the upperhand, but neither gave up any ground easily.

This match saw both competitors take each other to the limit. Eventually, they were both out on the mat, and that happened a few times with several near-falls along the way.

Fans reached a fever-pitch as Takeshita won the match and was given the AEW International Championship. This was a hard-fought victory for Takeshita, as Don Callis joined him in the ring for a well-deserved celebration.

The Don Callis Family gathered in the ring, and then Kyle Fletcher made his return. He stood up to Okada, and then everyone left the ring. This left Fletcher alone with Takeshita in the ring, where he hugged the new champion after taking a moment to make fans believe he might turn on him.

After that, the two celebrated for a moment before Fletcher laid him out with a clothesline. Then Kyle Fletcher took Takeshita out with another powerful move before he and Okada had a staredown over who will hold the International Title. After that, Takeshita took a title shot to the head as he was held in a helpless fashion. This was quite a way for Takeshita to start off his International Title reign in strong fashion.

What’s your take on how this title match turned out at Double or Nothing? Are you still keeping up with AEW every week? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Beth Copeland Makes AEW Return At Double Or Nothing 2026

Beth Copeland Makes AEW Return At Double Or Nothing 2026

AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with FTR defending the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in a brutal “I Quit” match.

The match quickly spiraled into chaos with ladders, chairs, tables, and outside interference from Stokely Hathaway. Copeland and Cage were also fighting to keep their team alive, since a loss would mean they could never team again.

The biggest moment came when Beth Copeland made her shocking AEW return for the first time since September 2025, when FTR famously piledrove her in the middle of the ring. Her appearance completely changed the atmosphere as the ring was dismantled, tables were set on fire, and the opening match turned into total destruction.

Beth Copeland had a big hand in the finish of this match, as she got Spike from underneath the ring steps. In the end, Adam Copeland used Spike against Dax Harwood to get him to say “I Quit,” and that ended the match with new champions.

We will have to see what the WWE Hall of Famer does next, because Beth Copeland could find a regular spot in AEW. If anything, it was good to see her at Double or Nothing.

What’s your take on Beth Copeland making a return to AEW? Do you think she should wrestle for AEW? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Tear The Ring Apart To Win AEW Tag Team Titles At Double or Nothing

Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Tear The Ring Apart To Win AEW Tag Team Titles At Double or Nothing

AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with several championships on the line. While the AEW World Title match had a stipulation attached to it, the AEW World Tag Team Championship also came with one of its own, as FTR defended the titles against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in an “I Quit” match.

FTR entered as champions after retaining the titles against The Conglomeration on the final Dynamite and Collision before the show. Copeland and Cage came in trying to end their issue with FTR, but there was more on the line than the titles, since a loss would mean Copeland and Cage could never team again.

This match kicked off the pay-per-view, and they didn’t hold back. Weapons got involved eventually, as ladders and chairs were used. Adam Copeland set up a couple of tables in preparation for what was next. Stokely Hathaway also got involved as well, which gave FTR an advantage.

A toolbox was brought into the ring, and Dax Harwood got a wrench job on his nose, but he didn’t say that he quit. Eventually, Beth Phoenix came out, and the ring was dismantled.

Although this was the first match of the night, they literally tore the ring apart. Then the tables were set on fire, and they were destroyed with a crazy high spot.

Eventually, Beth Copeland got Spike, the nail-covered board, and he gave it to Adam Copeland to use on Dax before he said he quit. That meant new AEW World Tag Team Champions, and it was a wild match that got them there.

What’s your take on FTR’s time in AEW? Are they still top guys in your book? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

MJF Welcomes Mick Foley To AEW With Brutal Low Blow At Double Or Nothing

MJF Welcomes Mick Foley To AEW With Brutal Low Blow At Double Or Nothing

AEW brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. There are a lot of talking points going into the company’s Memorial Day weekend event, including Mick Foley’s arrival.

Mick Foley made his AEW debut tonight at Double or Nothing. He was alongside Renee Paquette during the company’s kickoff show. That was a big night for Foley as he got to run down the Double or Nothing card.

Just before the real show got started, Mick Foley and Renee were going over the MJF versus Darby Allin match tonight. That title versus hair match with the AEW World Title on the line is getting a bit of attention.

When the time came to talk about that match, Mick Foley was interrupted by MJF. The two had a back-and-forth in the ring, and it concluded with Foley saying that he believes that MJF is losing his hair tonight and not winning the AEW World Title.

As Mick Foley said that MJF has wavy hair, so he better wave it goodbye, the Salt of the Earth kicked Mrs Foley’s Baby Boy between the legs. Then Darby Allin ran down to chase MJF off.

We will have to see what happens with Mick Foley in AEW. He has only been on the job one night and he’s already taken a hit below the belt from one of the biggest heels in the company.

Mick Foley Makes AEW Debut At Double Or Nothing 2026

AEW brought Double or Nothing to the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. You never know what can happen when Tony Khan’s company brings a pay-per-view, and fans didn’t have to wait long for a big surprise.

Mick Foley opened up the Double or Nothing kickoff show. Fans were thrilled to see him, and that surprise was a big way to start the night.

Decades after Tony Schiavone said that Mick Foley won’t “put butts in seats” as WWE Champion, they are in the same company once again. It’s anyone’s guess whether they will call attention to that historic pro wrestling moment, but it’s hard to miss for longtime fans.

Mick Foley and Renee Young were in the ring to hype the night’s pay-per-view. Foley said that this was “one of the biggest nights” of his life as well.

After Mick Foley’s WWE exit drew headlines. He cited the company’s ties to Donald Trump as one of the biggest driving factors as to why he didn’t stick around. Now that he is in AEW, only time will tell how Tony Khan will use him.

MJF Claims Darby Allin “Looks Like A School Shooter” Ahead Of AEW Double or Nothing

MJF Claims Darby Allin “Looks Like A School Shooter” Ahead Of AEW Double or Nothing

MJF is taking things to a very controversial level ahead of his AEW Double or Nothing showdown with Darby Allin.

While speaking with Adam Glyn before the pay-per-view, MJF unloaded on the reigning AEW World Champion and compared Darby Allin to a “school shooter” while hyping their upcoming Title vs. Hair Match.

When asked whether he was nervous about facing Darby Allin, MJF immediately mocked his opponent’s appearance and claimed the match would be over almost instantly.

“Darby looks like a school shooter and he’s a little twink b*tch. This match is going to the easiest match of my life.”

MJF then doubled down on his confidence by predicting the match would barely last half a minute.

“I think 30 seconds. Put your money on 30 seconds.”

The former AEW World Champion also made it clear he has zero interest in losing his hair during the stipulation match, especially with acting opportunities continuing to open up for him outside the ring.

“People are worried I’m going to get my head shaved bald. That’s the stipulation of this match on Sunday, and that’s just not happening. As you know, I got big movies coming up.”

MJF also confirmed he has a role in “Violent Night 2” arriving later this year and teased additional acting projects he legally can’t discuss yet.

AEW Double or Nothing already has a loaded card, but the personal war between MJF and Darby Allin has quickly become one of the most talked-about matches heading into the event. With MJF now making headlines for his “school shooter” remark about Darby, fans will definitely be watching closely to see whether Allin responds before they finally collide.

Xavier Woods Warns Kenny Omega It’s “On Sight” Amid AEW Rumors

Xavier Woods Warns Kenny Omega It’s “On Sight” Amid AEW Rumors

Xavier Woods called out Kenny Omega after The New Day’s WWE exit, and he didn’t exactly keep things subtle as he threatened the Cleaner.

Xavier Woods took to his Instagram Story and posted a video with Kofi Kingston after a fan approached The New Day while wearing a Kenny Omega t-shirt. Woods immediately called out the shirt and made it clear he wasn’t having it.

“We’re doing photos at GalaxyCon—somebody let him in. Take this shirt off, get this shirt out of here. He almost got punched in the face.”

Then Woods turned his attention directly to Kenny Omega and issued a warning that if he ever sees Omega, it will be “on sight,” making it clear he will go after Omega.

“’Cause Kenny Omega—Kenny, if I see you, it’s on sight! It’s on sight! That means you’re getting punched in the face!”

The timing is hard to ignore. The long-rumored dream match between The New Day and The Elite has been discussed for years, but it suddenly feels more realistic now that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have parted ways with WWE.

Matt Jackson recently revealed on Being The Elite that The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega actually tried to make the match happen back in 2018. According to Jackson, they even spoke directly with Triple H about the idea.

“We truly were trying to get a New Day–Young Bucks–Kenny match to happen—an Elite versus New Day match. Um, actively, like they said they were trying on their side. We were definitely talking to, you know, our bosses, even to the point in 2018 when we got on the phone with Triple H and we talked to him and said, ‘Hey, you know, we would really like to do this match.’”

Jackson later admitted that while the talks were real, he got the sense Triple H may have been more interested in signing The Elite than actually booking the crossover match.

“And I don’t know if he was necessarily interested in just doing that match. I think he was more interested in pursuing us, you know, to work for him, but we talked to him about it. So, like, we were serious about doing the match, and we thought we’d probably be able to do it, and unfortunately we never did.”

Kofi Kingston also spoke about wanting to face The Young Bucks back in early 2024, saying the match had long been one of The New Day’s dream scenarios.

“I mean I’m gonna give a copout answer here. There’s just so many possibilities, you know we’ve always wanted to have matches with The Young Bucks. Yeah, we’ve said that before. We say it all the day.”

Kofi even referenced WWE previously opening the forbidden door with Mickie James, making it clear he was willing to peek through that door himself.

“They opened the door, they let Mickie James come here from TNA last year, not me. I can mention and talk about the kicking the forbidden door open, you didn’t shut it. So Imma come and peek through and see.”

Now Xavier Woods is adding more fuel to the fire by directly calling out the Best Bout Machine in public. Whether it was a joke, a tease, or the beginning of something bigger, fans are already going to connect the dots.

With The New Day recently parting ways with WWE and AEW figures previously excited about the possibility of the match, the long-awaited Elite vs. New Day match feels closer than it ever has. Woods may have been playing around at GalaxyCon, but the message to Kenny Omega was loud and clear.

Do you think Xavier Woods calling out Kenny Omega is setting up The New Day vs. The Elite, or was it just a fun GalaxyCon moment? Share your thoughts and feedback in the comments.

Willow Nightingale Vacates AEW TBS Title & Pulls Out Of Owen Hart Tournament

Willow Nightingale Vacates AEW TBS Title & Pulls Out Of Owen Hart Tournament

Willow Nightingale delivered shocking news during the May 20, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite / Collision after revealing she is injured and officially stepping away from competition.

During a backstage segment on the show, Nightingale reflected on her reign as AEW TBS Champion before confirming she suffered a shoulder injury serious enough to force her out of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. She also announced that she is relinquishing the AEW TBS Championship as a result of the injury.

Nightingale had originally been scheduled to face Alex Windsor in the opening round of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at AEW Double or Nothing. The tournament bracket had only recently been announced and already featured major names including Athena, Mina Shirakawa, Sareee, Hazuki, Skye Blue, Persephone, and Alex Windsor.

The injury now leaves AEW in a difficult position as the company must not only adjust the Owen Hart Tournament bracket, but also crown a brand-new TBS Champion moving forward.

Before ending the segment, Nightingale told fans she fully intends to return even though she does not currently know how long she will be out of action. She made it clear that when she does come back, she plans to return directly to the top of the division.

Nightingale had become one of the central figures in AEW’s women’s division during her run as TBS Champion, making this one of the biggest injury-related shakeups the company has dealt with in months.

Who do you think should become the next AEW TBS Champion now that Willow Nightingale has vacated the title? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback in the comments.

Sting Teams With Anthony Davis to Prank Darby Allin on TBS’ Foul Play

Sting Teams With Anthony Davis to Prank Darby Allin on TBS' Foul Play

Sting may be retired from wrestling, but he’s clearly still having fun alongside Darby Allin — even if this time it involves pranking him on national television.

On May 18, 2026, Sting took to Instagram and uploaded a video revealing that he and Anthony Davis would be pranking Darby Allin and NFL linebacker Daiyan Henley as part of Davis’ TBS series Foul Play. In the post, Sting specifically referenced Darby as his “old tag partner” while hyping up the episode.

“TONIGHT on #FoulPlayTBS, @antdavis23 and I prank my old tag partner, AEW World Champion @DarbyAllin! 👊🏼🦂🛹”

This comes shortly after Sting discussed his current role within All Elite Wrestling during an interview with Hunter, Jessica, and Cush. While explaining that he no longer works in a full-time backstage role, Sting revealed he still actively mentors talent whenever he’s around AEW programming.

“When I’m there, when I’m with the guys, yes, of course I will give feedback on a match that I saw or a gimmick or a certain move or whatever psychology somebody’s trying to use.”

He also made it clear he remains in contact with several wrestlers even when he isn’t physically backstage: “Some of the guys I’m in contact with, and I’ll talk with them on the phone.”

That relationship has been especially noticeable with Darby Allin, who remains closely associated with Sting even after Sting’s retirement from in-ring competition. Now, instead of standing beside Darby in AEW matches, Sting is apparently helping set him up for a prank on television.

At this point, details about the prank itself have not been revealed publicly. But the crossover involving Sting, Anthony Davis, Darby Allin, and Daiyan Henley definitely adds another unexpected chapter to Sting’s post-retirement run.
