Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will put the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line in a three-way TLC match at AEW All Out.
The champions will defend against both FTR and The Young Bucks in one of the biggest tag team matches AEW can book. Copeland announced the match during the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, setting up another violent chapter in the rivalry between the three teams.
Copeland and Christian retained the titles against Matt and Nick Jackson at AEW All In: London, but the champions didn’t get much time to celebrate. FTR returned with Stokely Hathaway after the match and joined the growing group of teams surrounding the champions at Wembley Stadium.
Now both teams are getting another opportunity, and there won’t be any standard tag team rules standing in their way. Tables, ladders and chairs will all be legal, with Copeland and Christian’s titles hanging in the balance.
The match also gives FTR another shot at Copeland and Christian after their brutal I Quit Street Fight at AEW Double or Nothing 2026. Copeland and Christian entered that match as challengers to Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
The Young Bucks already came close to taking the belts at All In, but Christian used a hidden wrench inside his brace before Copeland delivered a spear and Cage scored the pin. FTR’s return immediately after the match made it clear they weren’t finished chasing the championship either.
AEW All Out 2026 will take place Saturday, September 26 at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. AEW is billing the event as its return to Chicago, with the show scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM CT.
Copeland and Christian escaped Wembley with the titles, but All Out will force them to deal with two of AEW’s most decorated tag teams at the same time. With ladders providing a direct path to the championship, the champions won’t even need to be pinned to lose everything.
