Kazuchika Okada just walked out of AEW All In with another championship around his waist. Okada defeated Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita in a wild Triple Threat Match to capture the AEW International Championship, ending Fletcher’s reign with a Rainmaker.
Fletcher wasted absolutely no time getting started, blasting Okada with a superkick right at the beginning as Takeshita looked on in disbelief. Fletcher and Takeshita then got into a shoving match before Takeshita flattened him with the Takeshita Line.
Okada soon reminded both men that there was a third person in the match. After Fletcher tried catching him with a knee, Okada countered and dropped both Fletcher and Takeshita with a double DDT.
Things got a little more dangerous when Okada removed the screwdriver hidden in the turnbuckle. Fletcher spotted it and took it away before anyone could use it, but Okada remained in control and started throwing German suplexes.
The action spilled outside, where Okada connected with a huge rolling dive that got the crowd on its feet. Back inside, he drilled Takeshita with an uppercut before connecting with his signature neckbreaker, bodyslam and elbow drop. Then everyone started stealing from everyone.
Takeshita caught Okada with a Rainmaker before Fletcher planted Takeshita with Raging Fire, leaving all three men down. Okada recovered and caught Takeshita with a dropkick before things nearly went horribly wrong for Fletcher.
Okada accidentally drilled his own protégé with a Rainmaker and looked stunned by what he had done. That shock didn’t last particularly long. Okada grabbed Fletcher’s wrist and started repeatedly smashing him with short-arm clotheslines until Fletcher finally countered with a lariat of his own.
Takeshita then kicked Fletcher in the face in the corner, but Fletcher caught him on the top rope and went looking for an avalanche brainbuster. Takeshita somehow reversed it into a massive DDT before drilling Fletcher with a Power Drive Knee for a close two-count. Takeshita followed with Raging Fire, only for Okada to immediately catch him with another Rainmaker. Fletcher broke up the pin at the last possible second to keep his championship alive.
Fletcher and Takeshita briefly worked together to beat down Okada before turning their attention back to each other. The two stood in the middle of the ring trading massive elbow shots as the crowd erupted.
Takeshita eventually won that exchange with a huge Blue Thunder Bomb. Fletcher still managed to recover, catching Takeshita with a kick in the corner before planting him with a massive turnbuckle brainbuster.
Unfortunately for Fletcher, Okada was waiting. The moment Fletcher got back up, Okada absolutely flattened him with the Rainmaker and covered the champion for the three-count.
Fletcher survived Takeshita, nearly survived Okada and came painfully close to escaping All In with his championship. One Rainmaker was all it took to change everything, and Kazuchika Okada is now the AEW International Champion.
