CM Punk Spotted Looking Absolutely Jacked Ahead of WWE Return

CM Punk Spotted Looking Absolutely Jacked Ahead of WWE Return

CM Punk is apparently using his time away from WWE television to seriously bulk up.

A fan recently posted workout footage online that unexpectedly featured Punk in the background, and wrestling fans immediately noticed just how much more muscular the former WWE Champion appears ahead of his eventual return to programming. The fan described Punk as looking “yoked,” and honestly, the footage backs it up.

While there was some early online skepticism about whether the clip could have been AI-generated, multiple fans have already pointed out signs suggesting the footage appears legitimate. Punk especially looks noticeably bigger through his shoulders and upper arms compared to how he looked during his last WWE appearance.

Punk has not appeared on WWE television since the RAW after WrestleMania on April 20, where he had a tense face-off with Cody Rhodes. If the footage is recent, it definitely looks like Punk has been putting serious work in physically during his time off.

One interesting detail from the clip is Punk appearing slightly annoyed after noticing the camera pointed in his direction, which is understandable given how many invasive celebrity videos have been circulating online lately. At the same time, the footage does not appear staged and instead looks more like somebody accidentally catching Punk during a real workout session. Either way, wrestling fans instantly locked onto one thing — CM Punk looks shredded right now.

With WWE continuing to build toward another massive summer season, Punk returning in even better shape is only going to fuel more speculation about what the company has planned next for him.

Do you think CM Punk is gearing up for another major WWE run, and who should he feud with first once he returns? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

CM Punk Appears With Steve Carell for WWE 2K26 Comedy Segment at Night of Too Many Stars Event

CM Punk Appears With Steve Carell for WWE 2K26 Comedy Segment at Night of Too Many Stars Event

CM Punk may not be headed to WWE Backlash with Danhausen after all — but he still ended up stealing attention this week thanks to a bizarre comedy appearance involving Steve Carell.

After days of speculation connecting Punk to Danhausen’s mystery partner search, a recent report claimed Punk is currently not scheduled for Backlash. But while fans were still debating whether WWE was hiding a surprise return, Punk suddenly showed up at the May 7, 2026 edition of Night Of Too Many Stars and completely leaned into the chaos.

Despite being added to the event at the last minute, Punk ended up sharing the stage with Steve Carell and Jon Stewart for a bizarre WWE-themed comedy segment. Punk immediately went after Carell over one of the most infamous storylines from The Office, jokingly calling him out for the legendary “Scott’s Tots” episode before the segment turned into a WWE 2K26 showdown.

Carell played as a custom-created version of himself while Punk used his own character in the game. After Carell’s character tried escaping backstage during the match, the comedy spilled into real life when Carell jokingly attempted to run off stage during the live event.

That’s when Punk chased him down and beat around a ragdoll version of Carell in front of the crowd before the entire segment ended with both men laughing and shaking hands on stage.

The appearance immediately got attention online because it marked Punk’s first major public appearance since the April 20 episode of WWE Raw. That absence had only fueled speculation that he could secretly be tied to Danhausen’s partner storyline heading into Backlash. However, according to comments made during a Self Made Session, Punk currently isn’t expected to appear at the premium live event.

“At the moment, as far as I’m aware, he’s not scheduled to be on Backlash. No.”

That likely shuts the door — at least for now — on the idea of Punk teaming with Danhausen against The Miz and Kit Wilson. Still, Punk’s surprise comedy appearance proved he’s clearly staying active while away from WWE television. Whether this was simply a one-off celebrity appearance or the beginning of Punk slowly stepping back into the limelight remains to be seen.

What did you think about CM Punk’s segment with Steve Carell at Night Of Too Many Stars? Did the WWE 2K26 bit work for you, or was seeing Punk in comedy mode too strange? Drop your thoughts below and let us know.

CM Punk Pays Tribute to Late Dog Larry With New Tattoo

CM Punk Pays Tribute to Late Dog Larry With New Tattoo

CM Punk is keeping the memory of his late dog Larry close, and a new video shows just how far he’s gone to honor him.

A video posted by Maverink Studio on Instagram revealed that CM Punk recently got another tattoo dedicated to Larry, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the entire process. From early sketches to the rough draft and finally the inking, the clip captured every step — and it’s clear this wasn’t just another piece of body art.

The finished tattoo sits right under Punk’s left pec and features a portrait of Larry with a heart in the background, making the meaning impossible to miss. The footage also showed Punk reacting to the final result, as he looked genuinely satisfied as the tribute came together. Punk also made sure to thank them, as he said, “He’s perfect. Thank you for the incredible portrait ❤️”

This latest tattoo builds on what Punk had already shared during a WWE vlog, where he opened up about how much Larry meant to him and why he continues to honor him through tattoos, after he got a tattoo this year.

“This is my second Larry tattoo. I obviously have a lot of silly tattoos, but I also have a lot of heartfelt and meaningful ones. That’s the beautiful thing about tattoos — they’re very subjective, just like art.”

He also explained that one of his earlier tattoos was based on Larry’s actual paw print, something he had planned long before the loss.

“The Larry tattoo is his paw print. I always knew I was going to get it eventually, and it’s just a fun way to remember him.”

Punk didn’t hold back when sharing the personal memories tied to Larry either, recalling the small, everyday moments that stuck with him, including the habit that inspired where he placed the tattoo.

“If I was lying down and he needed something, he would climb on top of me and kind of paw at me while I playfully ignored him. Then he’d stand on my chest and stare at me until I finally asked, ‘Do you want to go for a walk?’ Then he’d get all excited. His paw would land right there, and the other one would hit me in the face.”

With this new tattoo now added, it’s clear Punk isn’t moving on from Larry — he’s choosing to carry that bond forward in a permanent way. The placement, the design, and the process all point to something deeply personal rather than just another addition to his collection.
