In footage obtained by Ringside News, Joe Hendry was seen leaving the ringside area after the match while being escorted by two referees. Hendry appeared unsteady on his feet as he made his way toward the backstage area, clearly selling the damage from the brutal main event.
The video shows Hendry being guided carefully by officials, stumbling slightly as he walked up the ramp area and disappeared behind the curtain. Given the punishment he absorbed during the match, including the closing spear and chokeslam from Tony D’Angelo, the visual added to the sense of how physically demanding the bout turned out to be.
