The New Level didn’t just debut at AEW All In 2026—they walked out of Wembley Stadium with championship gold. Kofi Kingston, Austin Creed and Swerve Strickland won the Trios Roulette match to become the new AEW World Trios Champions on their first night together.
Kingston and Creed, formerly known as The New Day in WWE, were revealed as Strickland’s partners for the wild-card team. The trio entered the match last before surviving the stacked field and capturing the titles. During a backstage exclusive after the match, Creed showed off the gold and introduced AEW’s new champions.
“These are the AEW World Trios Championships, and you’re looking at the new champions.”
Kingston then spoke about jumping from WWE to AEW and immediately winning a championship in his first match with the company. For him, the victory proved that he and Creed could succeed in another wrestling “universe.”
“It feels good. It feels valid. Validation to come over here from another universe and, on our first night out, our first match, to be in there with such prestigious teams. Look at us. What does that say about us?”
Strickland had his answer ready. The former AEW World Champion called the group history makers before explaining why they chose The New Level as their name.
“I’ll tell you what it says. History makers. All three of us. Of this generation, of this era, of this culture. Nobody is above us. We are the highest level. The new level.”
Creed closed the celebration by warning both the tag team and trios divisions. He made it clear that The New Level sees itself as AEW’s best three-man unit and its strongest duo.
“You wanna see what we have to say. You wanna see what we have to do. There ain’t no trio better than this. There ain’t no duo better than this.”
Kingston and Creed couldn’t have asked for a bigger start to their AEW careers. They debuted at Wembley Stadium, introduced a new team name and captured championship gold alongside Strickland—all in the same match.
