La Leona Posts Bikini Pic in Support of Bad Bunny Amid Super Bowl Controversy

La Leona Posts Bikini Pic in Support of Bad Bunny Amid Super Bowl Controversy

As tensions mount ahead of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 60 halftime performance, indie wrestling star La Leona is proudly showing her support.

On February 8, 2026—just hours before the global music icon takes the stage at Levi’s Stadium—La Leona took to Instagram to send a message of pride and solidarity. She posted a photo of herself in an orange bikini standing beside a painted Puerto Rican flag, with a caption that made her stance clear: “P FK R 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷 Bad Bunny & Puerto Rico today is your day !!!”

The tweet comes in the middle of a political firestorm surrounding Bad Bunny’s halftime show. Following his speech at the 2026 Grammy Awards—where he called out U.S. immigration policies with the line, “ICE out. We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens, we’re humans and we are Americans,”—reports emerged that protest groups were planning mass walkouts during his Super Bowl performance.

Former WWE personality Kayla Braxton responded to the controversy just a day earlier, calling out the racist walkout plans behind the backlash:

“Cool, if you’re walking out… can the rest of us rotate in and enjoy the show? Seats shouldn’t go to waste. We can keep them warm until your racism passes.”

Bad Bunny, who previously appeared at the 2020 Halftime Show with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, is set to make history as the first Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner to perform primarily in Spanish. During a press conference on February 5, he said his goal is to bring joy and culture to the biggest stage in sports:

“I just want people to have fun… Of course, a lot of my culture. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but it’s going to be fun! I know I said people have four months to learn Spanish, but no, just come ready to dance.”

With the stage set and the world watching, support from figures like La Leona is a reminder that for many, this is more than just a concert—it’s a cultural statement.

Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, Jay White, Naito & Others Help Close the Book on Tanahashi’s NJPW Legacy

Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, Jay White, Naito & Others Help Close the Book on Tanahashi’s NJPW Legacy

Wrestle Kingdom 20 came to an emotional end on January 4, 2026, as Kazuchika Okada defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event — officially ending the career of the man known as The Ace of NJPW. But what followed was one of the most heartwarming and unforgettable sendoffs in wrestling history.

After the match, the lights dimmed, and one by one, wrestling legends and former rivals made their way down to the ring — not to challenge Tanahashi, but to honor him.

The biggest shock of the night came first as Jay White made his surprise return to NJPW, walking down the ramp with flowers in hand. The crowd erupted as Switchblade entered the ring and presented Tanahashi with a bouquet, followed by a respectful photo-op that brought back memories of their intense history — now turned into mutual respect.

Next came Kota Ibushi, another longtime friend and rival, who embraced Tanahashi in a deeply emotional moment. The Tokyo Dome crowd barely had time to breathe before Kenny Omega followed, smiling as he joined the ring for the celebration. Will Ospreay entered soon after, rounding out a trio of global stars paying tribute to the Ace who paved the way. But it didn’t stop there.

Katsuyori Shibata then returned to NJPW and walked straight to Tanahashi, presenting him with flowers of his own. The two shared a moment of joy, even playfully chopping each other in the center of the ring — a callback to their fighting spirit and long history together.

And in a final emotional wave, Keiji Mutoh made his way to the ring, joined shortly after by Tatsumi Fujinami, two legends who helped shape the very foundation Tanahashi built upon. The group stood together in the center of the Tokyo Dome, surrounded by fans, cheers and tears.

Tetsuya Naito finally made his entrance — in true Naito fashion, after a long wait, trolling his mentor one last time. Once in the ring, Naito delivered a wholesome and emotional promo, thanking Tanahashi for believing in him and giving him his shot years ago. Then came the final goodbye.

Tanahashi addressed the crowd with gratitude, emotion, and flair — cutting a heartfelt promo thanking fans for over 20 years of support. He picked up his invisible guitar one last time and led the Tokyo Dome in a roaring air guitar solo, with wrestlers around the ring and fans in the stands all joining in. He promised them he’d never forget this night, and the crowd responded with deafening cheers. They then had a traditional 10-bell salute for the retired NJPW legend while Tanahashi cried.

It was more than just a retirement — it was a generational celebration, a passing of the torch, and a love letter to a man who carried NJPW on his back for over two decades/

Kazuchika Okada Defeats Hiroshi Tanahashi in Emotional Retirement Match at Wrestle Kingdom 20

Kazuchika Okada Defeats Hiroshi Tanahashi in Emotional Retirement Match at Wrestle Kingdom 20

The Tokyo Dome was electric as Wrestle Kingdom 20 came to a close — and in a moment that fans will never forget, Kazuchika Okada defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in a dramatic, brutal, and emotional match that officially marked the end of The Ace’s legendary in-ring career.

From the opening bell, the crowd roared for Tanahashi, knowing they were witnessing his final dance. The early minutes were a technical showcase, with both men trading holds, counters, and submissions. Tanahashi locked in a tight armbar, while Okada retaliated with disrespectful slaps and a stiff headlock before flooring the icon with a powerful shoulder tackle.

Okada gained momentum by sending Tanahashi crashing outside with a dropkick and brutal Irish whip into the guardrails, followed by a nasty DDT on the floor. The Rainmaker focused on Tanahashi’s back throughout the match, slamming him into the guardrails again and delivering punishing offense in the ring. But the Ace wasn’t going down easy.

Tanahashi rallied back with a top-rope senton, followed by multiple Dragon Screws, including one draped over the ropes. He took to the skies, delivering a High Fly Flow to the outside, and the fans were thunderous. Okada, however, countered with a massive flapjack and shoulder breaker, slowing Tanahashi’s rhythm.

In one of the match’s most vicious moments, Okada tombstoned Tanahashi on the entrance ramp, nearly ending it there — but the Ace miraculously beat the count.

Back inside, the drama escalated. Tanahashi countered a Rainmaker with one of his own, stunning the Tokyo Dome. Okada fired back, locking in a Boston Crab for an extended period, but Tanahashi wouldn’t quit. He answered with a Sling Blade, a PK, and a Bomaye knee in tribute to Shinsuke Nakamura, followed by two consecutive High Fly Flows — but Okada got the knees up on the second.

The two exchanged strikes with everything they had left. Okada’s uppercuts were met with Tanahashi’s fiery slaps and forearms. Okada shut it all down with a perfect dropkick, followed by a shocking Destino and a Cobra Flowsion, channeling other NJPW greats in a tribute-laced final chapter. Tanahashi still kicked out — but Okada wasn’t done.

After a scoop slam and diving elbow, Okada struck the pose, then nailed one final Rainmaker to bring an end to the career of NJPW’s Ace.

How do you feel about Kazuchika Okada being the one to end Hiroshi Tanahashi’s career? Was this the perfect sendoff for the Ace, or should it have gone differently? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Syuri Wins NJPW STRONG Women’s Title at Wrestle Kingdom 20

Syuri Wins NJPW STRONG Women's Title at Wrestle Kingdom 20

Syuri is now a double champion — and she earned it the hard way in a brutal Winner Takes All match against Saya Kamitani to kick off the women’s division at Wrestle Kingdom 20.

With both the IWGP Women’s Championship and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship on the line, the stakes couldn’t have been higher. And in a huge update coming out of the Tokyo Dome — Syuri walked out with both belts around her waist, proving once again why she’s one of the fiercest forces in the business.

The match was a fast-paced, hard-hitting showdown between two rivals who hadn’t faced each other in years — and with Kamitani having never beaten Syuri, the pressure was real from the opening bell.

The action was technical early, with Syuri controlling with headlocks and armbars, but Kamitani brought the fire — dodging a series of brutal kicks and countering with a springboard crossbody to the outside. From there, it turned into a war.

Syuri punished Kamitani’s arm throughout the match, hitting a slam directly on the injured limb before locking in a vicious cross armbreaker that nearly forced the tap. Kamitani showed incredible heart, surviving a DDT on the apron, a Fujiwara armbar, and multiple buzzsaw kicks from Syuri.

But Saya wasn’t going down quietly. She hit a top-rope frankensteiner, Blue Thunder Bomb, and the Star Crusher — but none were enough to put Syuri away.

In the end, after a wild back-and-forth that included a poisonrana, huge elbows, and near-falls that had the Tokyo Dome on edge, Syuri sealed it with another German suplex and a final brutal buzzsaw kick and finisher to finally put Kamitani down for the three.

With this victory, Syuri not only retained the IWGP Women’s Championship but also captured the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title, cementing her place as the face of NJPW’s women’s division in 2026.

Nick Gage Makes Remarkable Transformation After Facing Death in October

Nick Gage Makes Remarkable Transformation After Facing Death in October

Nick Gage is on the comeback trail—and GCW’s Brett Lauderdale just gave the world a first look at the incredible progress.

Lauderdale took to Twitter and uploaded new photos of the deathmatch legend looking significantly healthier, stronger and in great shape. According to the GCW founder, Gage has spent the last few months deep in recovery after coming face to face with death—and the results speak for themselves.

“On Oct 1st, this guy was face to face with death. In less than 3 months, the turnaround is shocking & remarkable,” Lauderdale posted. “This is what it looks like when you break free from decades of addiction and finally start believing in yourself. The king is back and I couldn’t be more proud. MDK.”

But Lauderdale wasn’t done. In a second tweet, he turned his attention to those who failed to support Gage during his darkest moments.

“To the haters, grifters, enablers & bad faith ‘brothers’ who cowardly looked the other way or played dumb when you were called out—die slow, your time will come.”

Gage had been absent from the indie scene since September 2025, when Lauderdale initially revealed he was in long-term treatment and would remain off shows “indefinitely.” Gage had only just returned at GCW Homecoming: Night One, a few weeks earlier, and last competed at Focus Pro’s ‘My Friends Over You’ event on September 20th.

No word yet on when or if Gage will return to the ring, but with Lauderdale saying “the king is back,” it’s clear something special is happening. Nick Gage has always been a symbol of survival in wrestling. Now, he’s a symbol of rebirth. And this time? He looks ready for round two.

What do you think about Nick Gage’s transformation? Are you hoping to see him back in GCW—or just happy to see him healthy again? Drop your thoughts below and let us know—MDK all f’n day.

Bad Bunny Spotted Ringside at CMLL in Mexico City Wearing Mistico Mask

Bad Bunny Spotted Ringside at CMLL in Mexico City Wearing Mistico Mask

Bad Bunny may be one of WWE’s most memorable celebrity guests in recent years, but this week he was spotted enjoying Lucha Libre from the other side of the barricade.

The Grammy-winning music icon was in attendance for Tuesday night’s CMLL event at Arena Mexico, where he attempted to keep a low profile by wearing a Mistico mask—a tribute to one of the company’s most iconic stars. Sitting in the front row, masked and nearly unrecognizable, Bad Bunny quietly took in the action until his presence was confirmed by the promotion itself. CMLL acknowledged the global superstar in a post on Instagram, writing:

“The multi-award-winning Bad Bunny lived The World’s Greatest Wrestling up close, vibrating with every fall and every key… and rocking none less than the mask of the King of Silver and Gold, Mystical!” (translated)

While fans haven’t seen Bad Bunny on WWE television since his critically praised San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest at Backlash 2023, his passion for pro wrestling is clearly alive and well. His appearance at a CMLL event—especially while donning the mask of Mistico—shows that his fandom goes far beyond WWE.

Interestingly, CMLL maintains a working relationship with AEW, not WWE, which adds a curious wrinkle to Bad Bunny’s latest wrestling sighting. Whether it was a simple fan visit or a hint of something more, his presence didn’t go unnoticed.

Could Bad Bunny eventually cross over into the AEW/CMLL universe—or was this just a one-night tribute to Lucha Libre culture? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Ex-WWE Star Shayna Baszler Wins BRCW Women’s Title After Ash by Elegance Vacates Championship

Ex-WWE Star Shayna Baszler Wins BRCW Women’s Title After Ash by Elegance Vacates Championship

Shayna Baszler just walked out of Boca Raton with another championship around her waist—this time handed to her directly by the woman who had to give it up.

At Boca Raton Championship Wrestling’s November Knockdown show on November 2, Baszler defeated Lacey Lane to win the vacant BRCW Women’s Championship in a 13-minute match. The belt was wrapped around her waist by Ash by Elegance, who recently announced she’s no longer medically cleared to wrestle.

Ash had already vacated the TNA Knockouts World Championship for the same reason and confirmed her status in a video message shared by the promotion.

“I have to tell you something extremely difficult, so bear with me. I have to make an announcement that I am not medically cleared to compete, so with a heavy heart, I have to forfeit this title.”

Ash hinted at her full retirement during a recent virtual signing, calling one piece of memorabilia a part of her final wrestling chapter.

“$30 for this top. It is worn with me and Paige VanZant (in a photoshoot), but also, this is the shirt I retired in. It’s $30. My retirement t-shirt.”

While she hasn’t completely ruled out a comeback, Ash made it clear she considers herself retired for now. Tommy Dreamer, who has remained close to the situation in TNA, addressed fan speculation recently and kept it short.

“She is no longer physically able to compete, per her statement and that’s it. There’s HIPAA laws involved and stuff like that. People shouldn’t speculate.”

Baszler now holds the title Ash never lost in the ring, bringing new energy to the BRCW women’s division—but her victory came under heavy circumstances. Ash’s decision to step away reminds fans just how brutal the wrestling lifestyle can be behind the scenes.

Scarlett Bordeaux Wastes No Time Booking First Appearance After WWE Exit

Scarlett Bordeaux has kept herself busy after her WWE departure, especially since she’s an in-ring competitor again. That’s not all as it seems Scarlett is finally undergoing a makeover following her WWE exit.

The former WWE Superstar took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of herself, revealing that she is undergoing a makeover by changing her hair color from brunette to blonde again, as she is going back to her roots as the Smokeshow, saying, “Blonde in progress. Smokeshow loading… ✨”

Ever since she and Karrion Kross were let go by WWE, they have been tearing it up in the independent circuit. Most recently, Scarlett and Kross ended up forming an alliance with the Righteous at WrestlePro’s Killer Smokeshow main event. During the show, Scarlett brought back her Smokeshow destroyer as well, making it clear she’s no longer just a valet.

While Scarlett hasn’t officially made her in-ring return yet, it’s clear her going back to her classic blonde look is all part of the plan and by the time she competes again, fans will see her as the iconic Smokeshow that they all know and love.

Shotzi Blackheart Declares Herself ‘Indy Daddy’ After Viral Kiss at Indie Event

Shotzi Blackheart Declares Herself ‘Indy Daddy’ After Viral Kiss at Indie Event

Shotzi Blackheart just made her indie presence very clear—and fans at GCW Homecoming got front-row seats to the drama and heat she brings.

During the show, Shotzi interrupted a segment involving Atticus Cogar and made it known she wanted GCW World Champion Effy at his best before they faced off for the title. That didn’t sit well with Cogar, who took offense at Shotzi getting a title shot so fast. He moved to attack her, but before he could strike, indie star Vipress ran down to the ring to save Shotzi.

After the intense confrontation, things got even more intimate. Vipress shared a photo of herself and Shotzi locking lips—posting it to Twitter with a caption that left no ambiguity about how she felt. “She said she was the Indy Daddy @ShotziTCB,” she wrote.

Shotzi didn’t hold back either, responding with emojis and a confident reaffirmation of the nickname, “Indy daddy 🥰🤤”

This steamy moment, whether spontaneous or planned, had fans talking. It played perfectly into Shotzi’s unapologetic, no-limits attitude that earned her the nickname “Ballsy Badass” long ago. And now, outside of the WWE system, she’s doubling down on that energy in the indie world.

Did you think the kiss was real, or was it all part of GCW’s chaos? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know what you make of “Indy Daddy” Shotzi.

Priscilla Kelly Recreates Avril Lavigne’s Iconic Love Sux Look

Priscilla Kelly Recreates Avril Lavigne’s Iconic Love Sux Look

Priscilla Kelly is fully embracing her pop-punk era—on her own terms.

On Wednesday, September 10, Kelly dropped a striking set of photos on social media that instantly grabbed attention. One shot shows her perfectly recreating the cover art from Avril Lavigne’s Love Sux album, originally released in 2022. The album was a key part of Lavigne’s return to music and a spark for the ongoing pop-punk revival—and Kelly’s homage nails that same rebellious energy.

This photoshoot isn’t the first time Kelly’s mixed wrestling with punk rock flair. At TNA Rebellion earlier this year, she teamed up with Tatum Paxley for a My Chemical Romance-inspired entrance, complete with black parade aesthetics. The duo went on to challenge for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships but came up short in a fatal four-way match that included Ash By Elegance & Heather By Elegance, Meta-Four’s Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend, and the reigning champs Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat).

Since her WWE release earlier this year, Kelly has been grinding across the indie circuit, wrestling for top promotions like Wrestling REVOLVER, GCW, House Of Glory, and AIW. Each stop has given her the chance to redefine herself—visually and in the ring.

Priscilla Kelly might not be holding gold just yet, but she’s clearly owning her next chapter.

What do you think of Priscilla Kelly’s new direction? Should she stay solo or find another tag partner for TNA gold? Drop your thoughts below.

Matt Riddle Debuts Shocking Red Hair Amid OnlyFans Hustle

Matt Riddle Debuts Shocking Red Hair Amid OnlyFans Hustle

Matt Riddle is making sure nobody forgets about his latest business venture — and his latest Instagram post proves he’s all in. The former WWE Superstar turned heads again by revealing a dramatic new red hair makeover, right in the middle of promoting his OnlyFans account.

On July 25, Riddle posted a shirtless bathroom selfie from Charlotte, North Carolina, showing off his freshly dyed red hair. The photo featured Riddle in his signature short shorts, flaunting his shredded physique and now-fiery hairdo with the caption: “Stay hard 🤙🏼.”

The reactions from fans were immediate. Several comments compared his new look to fast food icon Wendy, The Fifth Element’s Leeloo, and even Heath Ledger’s version of The Joker from The Dark Knight. One viral comment summed it up perfectly: “What in the Esse Rios is going on?”

The transformation comes just weeks after Riddle launched his OnlyFans account, cheekily branded as “brOnlyFans.” He made waves last month by promoting it with a full-frontal nude photo on Twitter, covered only by an emoji. At the time, he teased fans by saying, “It’s about to go down bro 🤙🏼 onlyfans.com/mattriddle.”

Riddle leaned into the adult content space fast, pricing his subscription at $20 per month and promising exclusive material that he teased as more than just your typical gym selfie. In a robe-clad video, he told followers: “Some say it’s Father’s Day, but I say it’s Daddy’s Day. So if you wanna see me—and maybe more—subscribe.”

Since parting ways with WWE in 2023, Riddle has been chasing projects that match his free-spirited brand. Between bold hair, bare-it-all marketing, and his unapologetic persona, he’s made it clear he’s not looking to fit in—he’s looking to stand out.

Whether you love it or cringe-scroll past it, one thing’s certain: Matt Riddle isn’t dialing anything back.

Elayna Black Flaunts New Mercedes SUV After Ditching Wrestling for OnlyFans

Elayna Black Flaunts New Mercedes SUV After Ditching Wrestling for OnlyFans

Elayna Black, formerly known to WWE fans as Cora Jade, is riding high—literally—thanks to the massive success of her OnlyFans career.

On July 26, 2025, the 24-year-old shared a photo on Instagram showing off her brand-new white Mercedes-Benz GLB 250, striking a pose in front of the vehicle at Mercedes-Benz of Fort Lauderdale. With the simple caption “My new baby,” the post said everything it needed to.

The car itself—a 2025 GLB 250—starts at around $44,450, with the all-wheel-drive 4MATIC model priced even higher. With optional features or AMG upgrades, that figure can jump significantly.

The luxury SUV is the latest sign that Elayna Black’s shift away from wrestling has been anything but a financial misstep. Her OnlyFans account, launched after her WWE exit, has turned into a money-making machine. Dave Meltzer recently said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Black “has probably made more money last month than any woman pro wrestler in the world, probably by a lot, because of OnlyFans.” He even compared her success to Mandy Rose, who walked a similar path and turned her post-WWE content into a million-dollar brand.

“Mandy Rose set the template… and Elayna followed it. If you’ve got the right look and you’ve been on TV, you can make insane money.”

Black, who announced in June she would be stepping away from wrestling for the remainder of 2025 to prioritize her mental health, hasn’t closed the door on a return. But her earnings are clearly making the break more than worthwhile.

“It’s no longer good for my mental health and I’ll never know if that love for it I once had will return if I don’t step away,” she shared in a statement last month.

So far, that decision looks like it’s paying off—and now she’s paying it forward in horsepower and luxury.

Elayna Black Claps Back at Trolls With Bikini Pics and Savage Caption

Elayna Black Claps Back at Trolls With Bikini Pics and Savage Caption

Elayna Black is staying unbothered—and she’s doing it in style.

The former WWE Superstar, known to fans as Cora Jade, took to Instagram on July 19 to post a stunning new bikini photo along with the caption: “You can paint me like a villain…”

The Instagram post, which features Black posing in a pink bikini on a balcony, comes just after she faced criticism online over her new OnlyFans account. Paired with a follow-up shot zoomed in on her “F**k Off” heart-shaped earring, the post was widely seen as a quiet—but pointed—clapback at trolls.

This follows a series of messages Black shared on Instagram Story awhile back, where she warned she’s done entertaining negativity.

“Enjoy your moment with me because one day I’m gonna block you and never speak to you again,” she said in a blunt video clip.

She didn’t stop there—Black called out fans who criticized her subscription content, charging $15.99 a month, by posting:

“Btw it’s called being able to wrestle wherever I want and also now being able to profit off of you being creeps which you were going to do for free anyways!!! Get this, AT THE SAME TIME!”

Since leaving WWE, Elayna Black has kept her name in the headlines. She’s teased working with AEW again and hinted at a potential match with Julia Hart. But for now, she’s all about reclaiming control—and cutting off anyone who brings bad energy.

Priscilla Kelly and Zachary Wentz weren’t shy about showing off their relationship—and each other—this 4th of July. The couple, who have been together for years, took their patriotic celebrations to Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida, and made it Instagram official with a cheeky post that got everyone talking.

The former WWE star, known to fans as Gigi Dolin during her time in NXT, posted a beachside photo where Zachary Wentz is seen grabbing a handful as the two pose for a selfie. Kelly rocked a blue bikini and a Bud Light cowboy hat, while Wentz sported a full American flag shirt with a bald eagle graphic. His caption on the post? Straight to the point: “God Bless the USA. us. Ya perverts.”

Fans filled the comments with reactions, with one writing, “We need a Only Fans account.” Another joked, “Man good for you bro.” Others praised the couple’s chemistry, writing, “Best couple. Zachary stays winning!”

Kelly and Wentz got engaged in October 2023, with Gigi Dolin announcing the news on Instagram during Halloween. She revealed that Wentz popped the question during a Disney Cruise, making their real-life fairytale one step closer to reality.

The beach PDA might not be for everyone, but clearly, these two aren’t worried about keeping things low-key.

Elayna Black Shows Off Nasty Bruise After Brutal Deathmatch at GCW Event

Elayna Black Shows Off Nasty Bruise After Brutal Deathmatch at GCW Event

Elayna Black has been hitting the ground running ever since WWE released her this year. She’s already back in the indies and recently had a brutal deathmatch with Joey Janela and now she has shown off a nasty bruise and cut she got from the bout.

Black took to her Instagram story and uploaded a photo of herself after her deathmatch with Joey Janela at GCW Bang. She sent a warning to Janela as she said she had money to make with her face, showing off a very nasty bruise right above her eye as well as a cut, saying, “You will rue this day I got money to make w this face @thebagboyjoeyjanela”

During the GCW Bang event, Elayna Black faced off against Joey Janela in a very violent deathmatch, where Black took insane bumps. This included an avalanche brainbuster, a wooden door to the face and more. Black pulled off a springboard DDT, top rope destroyer and more but ultimately lost to Joey Janela.

Elayna Black also recently made it clear she wouldn’t go back to WWE if they called her right now since she wanted to explore other options and that’s exactly what she’s doing right now. Therefore, we’ll have to see how 2025 turns out for her as it’s clear Black is more than ready to take over the indie scene.

Do you think Elayna Black’s hardcore style will take her to the top of the indie scene—or possibly somewhere even bigger? Sound off in the comments.

Savio Vega Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Savio Vega Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

The surprises kept coming at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, but few carried the same weight of nostalgia and respect as the appearance of Puerto Rican wrestling icon Savio Vega.

Following Santos Escobar’s six-man tag team victory alongside Angel and Berto over AAA’s El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown, cameras cut to a familiar face in the crowd—Savio Vega seated prominently at ringside.

What made the moment even more interesting? Seated right next to him was WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.

The two Puerto Rican stars shared the screen for several seconds, and commentary subtly acknowledged the moment without drawing too much attention—leaving fans to soak in what felt like a passing of the torch between generations. For longtime fans, seeing Vega—who’s been involved in various WWE moments dating back to the 1990s—sitting next to a current top champion made for a powerful visual.

Savio Vega has remained close to the WWE family, even appearing during the Puerto Rico-based Backlash event in 2023. His connection to Latin American wrestling culture and influence across both WWE and AAA makes his presence at Worlds Collide especially meaningful, particularly on a night celebrating cross-promotional history.

With the crowd loud after Escobar’s win and the cameras locking in on Vega, it was clear this wasn’t a random cameo. WWE sent a quiet but clear message—icons like Savio still matter, and their presence rings loud when the spotlight hits the intersection of legacy and future.

Do you think WWE has plans for Savio Vega going forward—or was this just a respectful nod during a night of cultural celebration? Let us know in the comments below.
