Darby Allin is the new AEW TNT Champion after putting himself through absolute hell to defeat Kevin Knight at All In. Allin eventually climbed to the top of the lighting scaffolding and hit a Coffin Drop that sent both men crashing through the stage before somehow getting back up to finish Knight.
The Falls Count Anywhere match didn’t even wait for the bell to get violent. Darby attacked Knight before the champion was ready, but Knight quickly responded by smashing him with the TNT Championship.
Knight took control and started beating Darby down before pulling out a table. That immediately backfired when Darby dropkicked the table straight into Knight’s face.
Darby was already bleeding from the back of his head, but that didn’t slow him down. He climbed onto the steps and blasted Knight with a shotgun dropkick that sent the champion crashing into the barricade.
Knight responded by hammering Darby with punches before laying him across the announce table. He then launched himself with a springboard crossbody, sending both men crashing onto the desk—but somehow the table didn’t break.
The champion then brought multiple chairs into the ring, which turned out to be another questionable decision. Darby countered Knight from the top rope and hit a Code Red onto the pile of chairs, doing even more damage to Knight’s knee.
Then the Don Callis Family decided Darby hadn’t suffered enough. Brian Cage and Jake Doyle interfered and introduced a ladder into the match. Cage threw Darby onto the pile of chairs before Darby’s arms were duct-taped behind his back, leaving him almost completely defenseless.
That brought Steven Borden running out with a chair. Sting’s son went after the Don Callis Family and even dropped Knight with a punch before Doyle caught him with a knee. Borden fought back by clotheslining Cage and dropkicking Doyle.
Darby somehow kept fighting with his hands still tied behind his back. He hit a diving hurricanrana on Cage before launching himself through the ropes with a suicide dive onto Knight. Cage eventually caught him and delivered a huge superplex from the middle rope.
Then Wembley got another surprise. Sting came out carrying his baseball bat and immediately started swinging. He unloaded on Cage and Doyle with repeated bat shots, giving Darby the backup he desperately needed.
Steven Borden returned to his father’s side, and the two set up a ladder. Sting initially started climbing, but Steven stopped his father from taking the risk. So Steven did it himself. Borden climbed the ladder and launched himself onto Cage and Doyle below, wiping out both members of the Don Callis Family while Sting watched.
By that point, Knight had started retreating up the entrance ramp. Darby followed him with Sting’s baseball bat, but Knight avoided the shot and the two started trading huge elbows. Their fight eventually reached the lighting structure, and that’s when Darby decided normal human limits no longer applied.
Darby climbed all the way to the top of the steel lighting scaffolding while Knight remained below. Then he launched himself with a massive Coffin Drop, driving Knight through the stage in one of the craziest moments of the entire show.
Somehow, Darby got back up. Knight was being taken away on a stretcher when Darby came flying in with another Coffin Drop. This time there was nothing left for Knight to survive, and Darby scored the three-count to become the new AEW TNT Champion.
Darby has spent his entire career finding increasingly ridiculous ways to throw himself off things, but Wembley gave him one of his biggest stages yet. He climbed the lighting rig, crashed through the stage and still got back up long enough to leave All In with the TNT Championship.
