Born on December 25, 1985, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Miro’s athletic career began in powerlifting and rowing before transitioning to professional wrestling, where he quickly made an impact.

Miro’s wrestling career took off in WWE, where he debuted as Rusev in 2010. He was prominently featured as a Bulgarian brute, portraying a foreign antagonist character that resonated with audiences due to his intensity and imposing presence.
