Ric Flair isn’t finished dealing with the injuries from his nasty fall in Florida. The WWE Hall of Famer has now revealed that he needs another surgery and might even require a skin graft before he can put the whole situation behind him.

On October 28, 2026, Flair took to Twitter and shared a photo of himself surrounded by medical staff at the USF Health Eye Institute. The 77-year-old appeared to be in good spirits, but his update made it clear that his recovery isn’t over just yet.

“One More Surgery And One More Possible Skin Graft, And Then I Will Be Good To Go! Thank You @USFHealth Eye Institute! 🙏🏻”

The update comes just five days after Flair suffered a bloody fall outside a Florida establishment on October 23. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital with injuries to his face and eye, spending the night receiving treatment before being released the following day. Flair had already been dealing with a serious blood clot in his leg, which forced him to cancel a scheduled autograph appearance in Seattle because doctors wouldn’t allow him to fly.

Things got even more concerning after his fall. During the October 25 edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claimed Flair had been drinking at a bar near his home before the accident. He also said Flair returned to that same establishment on October 24, the night after his hospitalization. Flair previously shared a photo of his injured eye and thanked the doctors who treated him. At the time, he assured fans that he was focused on getting better.

“I Am Focused On My Healing And Recovery Right Now. I Will Be Okay!”

Now, Flair’s latest update confirms that additional medical treatment is still ahead of him. While he didn’t provide a date for the next surgery or explain exactly why a skin graft might be necessary, he sounded confident about his recovery.

The Nature Boy has had a rough stretch between his blood clot, hospitalization, and facial injuries. His latest photo shows him smiling alongside his medical team, but another surgery and the possibility of a skin graft mean he’s still got some healing to do.
