Stephanie Vaquer’s sudden absence from WWE RAW now has a little more clarity, but there’s still a pretty big question hanging over when fans will actually see her again. What initially looked like a last-minute medical issue could keep her sidelined for an unknown amount of time.

According to PWInsider, Vaquer was not in attendance for the October 26 edition of RAW and remains medically uncleared. The good news is that her situation is believed to be illness-related rather than the result of an injury. There’s still no timetable for her comeback, though.

“We have not heard a timetable for her expected return to action.”

False Finish has since provided another update on Vaquer’s status. A source told the outlet that her absence is believed to be illness-related and that she will be out “indefinitely.” That doesn’t necessarily establish how long Vaquer will actually be sidelined, but for now there apparently isn’t a return date.

Vaquer was originally scheduled to face Becky Lynch on RAW in a #1 contender’s match for Liv Morgan’s WWE Women’s World Championship. Adam Pearce came out during the show and announced that Vaquer had not been medically cleared, forcing WWE to scrap the match.

Since Lynch was still available, Pearce instead announced that The Man would challenge Morgan for the Women’s World Championship later that night. For now, WWE hasn’t announced what happens with Vaquer’s spot in the title picture once she’s cleared. With her absence open-ended, the bigger question is how WWE handles things creatively until she’s ready to get back in the ring.

How do you think WWE should handle Stephanie Vaquer’s spot in the Women’s World Championship picture while she’s away? Let us know what you think in the comments.
