Lars Sullivan was set to be a part of Raw and SmackDown this week. It wasn’t clear if he was supposed to actually debut on television or if he was going to work a dark match. Either way, it didn’t happen because he was sent home after suffering what is believed to be an anxiety attack.

Sullivan will reportedly have a lot of push behind him and is said that WWE will give him all the chances in the world to succeed. However, you have to wonder if this recent mental health issue could hinder Vince McMahon’s confidence in the 30-year-old Superstar.

Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that WWE was understanding about Sullivan’s issue. It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter how since Mauro Ranallo’s issues that the company is being very empathetic toward this kind of issue.

Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider Elite audio that he hasn’t heard anything new regarding Sullivan.

“Just so you know I haven’t heard anything about Lars Sullivan at all and we will update as soon as we know more.”

It was interesting how Johnson had updates for all incoming NXT Superstars except for Lars Sullivan. He also didn’t note that Sullivan actually suffered from an anxiety attack. We know who will be working with the Raw brand this week and we were told who to expect on SmackDown Live. However, it might not be a great sign that Johnson doesn’t have an update on Sullivan.

We will let you know as soon as we hear any new information in this situation. Lars Sullivan is booked for huge WrestleMania match as well, so hopefully, he will be able to overcome whatever issue he has and get to work on WWE’s plan for his character.
