Ric Flair has now revealed who his latest trademark warning was aimed at, and it turns out the issue is inside his own family.

After previously threatening legal action over someone using his “Flair” trademark, Ric took to Instagram and made it clear he was referring to his son, David Flair. David is connected to Green Flair Recycling, and Ric’s latest post made it obvious there is serious bad blood between them.

“The Relationship Was Gone 9 Years Ago… I’m Sorry & Sad That It Has Come To This. I’ve Tried My Best To Fix Things Over The Years Only To Be Rejected Because Your Wife Runs Your Life.”

This comes after Flair first posted a warning on Twitter, saying someone he knew was using one of his trademarks without authorization. He said he was represented by a high-priced attorney and was ready to act if the matter was not resolved. The Nature Boy also included a screenshot explaining potential consequences for trademark infringement, including court injunctions, damages, and lost profits.

“Unfortunately, There Is Someone That I’m Very Familiar With Using My Own Trademark FLAIR. I Would Like Anyone Who Is Using My Trademarks- Which Are Impossible To Own And I Own Mine, To Know That I’m Well Represented By A Reputable $1000 Per Hour Attorney That Makes A Living Suing People That Abuse My Trademark. You Know Who I’m Talking About. I Hope You Can Clear This Up By Monday, And If We Can’t Resolve This Issue, Read The Penalties.”

This latest dispute continues Flair’s long-running public frustration over trademarks and branding. Back in 2021, Flair also took issue with Becky Lynch using “The Man” nickname and demanded an apology from Lynch and WWE while asking for a $20 million check. Flair previously argued on Wooooo Nation Uncensored that his trademarks were meant to benefit his family after everything he built during his career.

“Ultimately, the people that did that to me need to look in the mirror and know that I worked my whole career for that to belong to my daughter or my son.”

Now, the situation has taken a much more personal turn, with Ric openly pointing to David Flair and Green Flair Recycling. What started as a vague legal threat has become a family dispute over the Flair name.
