Ric Flair’s health scare has everyone waiting for answers, and now his son-in-law Conrad Thompson has shared a message that could be good news for the WWE Hall of Famer. After Flair was rushed to a Florida hospital following a bloody fall on October 23, Thompson posted a short update on Saturday that immediately raised questions about whether the Nature Boy had been released.
On October 24, Thompson took to social media with a simple message that appeared to suggest someone close to him had returned home. However, he didn’t specifically identify who he was talking about.
“He’s home. 🙏”
The timing is interesting considering Flair was hospitalized Friday morning after falling outside a restaurant in Tampa. The 77-year-old suffered cuts to his head and eye, leaving him bleeding before emergency responders arrived and transported him to the hospital.
Later that evening, Flair’s daughter Charlotte gave everyone some reassurance when she revealed that her father was going to be okay. She even shared a joke he made to his doctor about The Ultimate Warrior.
“Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…(ps: he’s going to be ok)”
Thompson’s latest post could be another positive development, especially since he’s married to Flair’s daughter Megan. However, there’s one important detail that makes the message difficult to confirm as an update on Flair.
Thompson also hosts the Grilling JR podcast with Jim Ross, who recently dealt with his own hospitalization. The 74-year-old WWE Hall of Famer was hospitalized earlier this month after experiencing low oxygen levels. Thompson had already confirmed on the October 22 edition of the podcast that Ross was back home and recovering.
That means Thompson’s Saturday message doesn’t definitively establish that Flair has been discharged. Neither Flair nor his family has provided additional details confirming his release from the hospital.
Flair’s hospitalization also came just hours after he revealed that he was dealing with a blood clot in his leg. Doctors had restricted his travel and scheduled a procedure to address the issue, although there’s no indication that the blood clot caused his fall.
For now, Charlotte’s confirmation that her father is going to be okay remains the clearest update on Flair’s condition. Thompson’s message certainly sounds encouraging, but until someone confirms exactly who he was referring to, it’s too early to say the Nature Boy has officially returned home. After everything that happened Friday, that confirmation would be welcome news.
