Ric Flair’s scary trip to the hospital finally has a positive update, and it came straight from his daughter, Charlotte Flair. After the WWE Hall of Famer was rushed to a Florida hospital following a nasty fall on Friday, October 23, Charlotte confirmed that her father is going to be okay. She also revealed that the Nature Boy was already cracking jokes with his doctor.
Later Friday evening, Charlotte addressed her father’s condition on social media after news broke that Flair had been hospitalized in Tampa. Rather than simply telling everyone he was recovering, she shared a funny moment involving her father and a reference to one of wrestling’s most famous rivalries.

Charlotte was referring to The Ultimate Warrior, giving everyone a glimpse of Flair’s sense of humor despite the frightening situation. More importantly, her message offered some much-needed reassurance about his condition.
Flair was taken to the hospital Friday morning after falling while walking across the street near Wagamama in Tampa. The 77-year-old suffered cuts to his head and eye, with significant bleeding around his face. Emergency responders treated him at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital.
The incident came just hours after Flair revealed that he was dealing with a blood clot in his leg. Doctors had already restricted his travel to three or four hours, forcing him to cancel an appearance at Washington State Horror Con in Seattle. He also disclosed plans to undergo a procedure to address the affected vein.
There has been no confirmation that the blood clot played any role in Friday’s fall, and Charlotte didn’t provide specific details about his injuries or whether doctors had cleared him to leave the hospital.
Still, after everything that happened Friday, Charlotte’s update is the news everyone was hoping to hear. Flair went from announcing a serious medical problem to being taken away in an ambulance on the same day. At least now his daughter says he’s going to be okay, and judging by the story she shared, the Nature Boy hasn’t lost his sense of humor.
