Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley’s run as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions is already over. The two walked into SmackDown looking to make their first successful title defense, but Michin and B-Fab had other plans. Thanks to some outside interference, WWE now has new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The title change happened during the October 23, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown, when Bliss and Paxley defended their championships against Michin and B-Fab.

The match started with B-Fab getting aggressive against Bliss, repeatedly shoving her in the face before the two started trading strikes. Paxley eventually tagged in and took control, even hitting a moonsault onto Michin outside the ring.

Bliss later got back into the match and went after B-Fab, hitting a DDT and a blockbuster for a near fall. She attempted Sister Abigail, but B-Fab managed to escape before Michin tagged in.

Things started falling apart for the champions after Paxley became the legal competitor. She attempted a 450 splash but landed on her feet when Michin moved out of the way. Paxley then tried to hit Cemetery Drive, but Michin managed to grab the ropes to stop the move.

That’s when Jade Cargill got involved. Cargill punched Paxley while the referee wasn’t looking, giving Michin the opening she needed. Michin immediately hit a Styles Clash and covered Paxley for the three-count. Just like that, Michin and B-Fab became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The result brings Bliss and Paxley’s championship reign to an abrupt end, with the two losing the titles in their first defense. It also raises questions about Jade Cargill’s involvement and why she decided to help Michin and B-Fab steal the victory.

Do you think Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley deserve an immediate rematch after Jade Cargill cost them the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships? Let us know in the comments.
