We previously reported that Mustafa Ali requested his release in 2021, and people in NXT had no idea he was on his way out. Also, Elias was pitching ideas to WWE creative up until a month before his release from the company.

Emma was released today as well. She was with Riddick Moss creatively in WWE, and she hadn’t been seen in quite some time. Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE creative didn’t know how to get Moss over, because he never connected with fans.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Riddick Moss was a favorite of Paul Heyman’s. That being said, he still couldn’t find a good booking situation in WWE.

Riddick Moss had been a favorite of Paul Heyman when he was running the show, and was someone that Heyman felt that they could get to the main event level. Unfortunately, many others in the company didn’t share that sentiment, and he struggled to get booked.

Mustafa Ali said he is no longer working with WWE. It was then revealed that Emma was released today as well. Riddick Moss later joined his fiancé in free agency.

It was later reported that Rick Boogs was released from his contract. Sadly, Aliyah’s name joined that list later. It didn’t take long for fans to hear about Elias’ release. Top Dolla’s name joined those releases as well.

Riddick Moss has a lot of hope for his future, and he now has a WWE credit to his name. If anything, he will attack the indies as he promised to. Only time will tell if his drive will see him make his way back to WWE.
