SmackDown Women’s Title Match Made Official For WWE SummerSlam

Liv Morgan won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Money in the Bank premium live event on July 2nd. Morgan successfully cashed-in her contract the very same night on SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.

The newly-crowned champion appeared on SmackDown this week to thank the fans for their support. Morgan was interrupted by Natalya mid-promo. The BOAT bragged about how she was responsible for Morgan’s victory at Money in the Bank.

Ronda Rousey then approached the ring and confronted the two women. The Baddest Women on the Planet defeated Natalya in an impromptu match after that. It was made official after the show that Rousey will face Morgan in a rematch for the title at SummerSlam.

The 35th annual SummerSlam premium live event takes place at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30th. Check out the card for the event down below.
