Liv Morgan shocked the WWE Universe when she won the Money in the Bank contract on Saturday. Not only did she secure a future title shot, but she cashed it in the same night. Liv defeated Ronda Rousey to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Morgan had been primarily working on the Raw brand at the time of her upset win. Now that she holds the title for the blue brand, it only makes sense for her to make the jump. That has now been made official by WWE.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider has reported that Liv Morgan has been moved to the SmackDown side on WWE’s internal rosters. It was an expected move, considering she is now the brand’s champion. It is the second noteworthy change on the company’s internal women’s roster of the day.

“New WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan has been officially shifted to the Smackdown roster, PWInsider.com has confirmed.”

Earlier, it was reported that Sasha Banks and Naomi were removed from WWE’s internal rosters. It’s the closest to an official confirmation of their release as we have heard thus far. Both were suspended without pay after walking out on the company over creative differences.

The situation is much brighter in Liv Morgan’s case. She will now officially jump to her new brand. Time will tell how her reign as SmackDown’s women’s champion will go.
