The TNA Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony opens up with Tom Hannifan welcoming us. Hannifan then introduces us to TNA President Carlos Silva and says the friends and family of ODB and Amazing Red are present here today.
Hannifan then introduces the first presenter Frankie Kazarian and Kazarian makes his way out. Kazarian then talks about Amazing Red. Kazarian says he first met Red in 2001 and was impressed by his high risk offense and his humble demeanor. Kazarian then says Red was an attraction and someone who needed to be seen to be believed. Kazarian then says Red joined TNA in 2002 and became a face of the X-Division. Kazarian then says Red was an unselfish man in a selfish business. Kazarian then says he won his first X-Division Title against Red and called it a great honor. Kazarian then says it is impossible to see pro wrestling in 2026 and not see something inspired by Red. We get a video package on Amazing Red.
Amazing Red then makes his way out on the stage and his family is shown and his son, Aiden, has the biggest grin on his face. The crowd then chants “You deserve it” before Red starts. Red says he was just a small Spanish kid from Brooklyn trying to chase his dream. Red then says Frankie was his family and was always there for his return matches and leaving matches. Red then thanks TNA for putting his name on the map and talks about people from “his hood” being thrilled when he was on tv and having his own action figure. Red then mentions Don West, Jerry Jarrett and Jeff Jarrett and says he’s probably going to get in trouble for mentioning certain people. Red then shouts out Eddie (Chris Divine) who always made sure you had money and food and would also drive him to shows that Eddie wasn’t booked on to make sure he got there. Red then thanks Brian XL for helping him with House of Glory and he thanks his family and kids, telling the audience to clap for them. Red then thanks his wife and says without her she wouldn’t be here. Red then says the fans made the X-Division bigger than what it is before announcing that he is the 7th entrant in the X-Division Title Match tonight. Silva then presents Red with his TNA Hall of Fame plaque.
Hannifan then says Amazing Red will compete at TNA Bound For Glory.
Hannifan then introduces Cruz Montana and Montana makes his way out. Montana then starts off by saying Tampa what’s good. We then get a video package on Konnan and in Montana’s words the video package is to demonstrate Konnan’s value to the industry as a whole. Montana then talks about Konnan. Montana says he went back and forth as to whether he wanted to write something. Montana then says anything he has to say will come straight from the heart. Montana then says without Konnan there is no Rey Mysterio, there is no Juventud Guerrera and there is no Psychosis. Montana then says without Konnan there is no lucha libre in the United States. Montana then thanks Konnan for paving the way for people like him. Montana then called Konnan the most swagged out badass mother f***er in the business today. Konnan’s music then plays, but Konnan isn’t there and Montana holds up Konnan’s plaque and walks to the back.
Hannifan then introduces Al Snow and Traci Brooks and they make their way out. Snow and Brooks then talk about ODB. Al talks about meeting “Jess” at the audition for the first Tough Enough in 2001 and says she is the only person he remembers from that audition. Al then says her promo was when he knew she would be a star. Traci then says girls are told to be seen and not heard and not cuss and she was so happy that ODB slapped her ass and said “b***h”. Traci then says they had a friendship that has lasted a lifetime. She then says ODB has the balls to be who she was. She then says sometimes you have to let people be who they are and that’s what TNA let ODB do. Traci then thanks Jess for allowing her to induct her. Earl Hebner then escorts ODB to the podium.
ODB starts off by saying she has been a wrestling fan since childhood and used to beat up her brother. ODB then says her parents first date was in 1973 going to an AWA show in Minneapolis. ODB then says she became a fan by watching the 1987 Slammy Awards. ODB then says when she was asked if she was tough enough to be in wrestling, she said hell yeah and that led to 25 years of dirt roads, cheap hotel rooms and friendships. ODB then says that led her to becoming a Hall of Famer. ODB then says she didn’t get here by herself and tripped over her words, making a joke about being easy on the flask. She then thanks Eddie Sharkey for starting her journey, Al Snow for encouraging her, Danny Davis for opening the OVW door and the OG Knockouts, who 19 years ago built the Knockout Division at Bound for Glory. ODB then says there were no pillow fights and were the women’s revolution before it was a thing.
Lisa Marie, Mickie James, Velvet Sky and Traci Brooks are all here and OBD thanks them. ODB then thanks “the original ODB” her Mom for loving her, saying a lot of who she is is because of her. She then thanks her late dad for teaching her to be a damn good person and is drinking with The Bruiser and The Crusher. She then thanks her brother even though she beat him up in front of all of his girlfriends. She then thanks Big Al for being her husband and giving her a great gift: her daughter, Madison. She also thanks her wrestling husband Eric Young for having the best damn wrestling wedding in history. She then thanks Traci for being “her Moolah” and they built a beautiful relationship. She then calls Earl Hebner one of her best friends and thanks Jeff and Jerry Jarrett, whose dream gave them a place to be themselves. She then finishes by thanking the fans.
