AEW is doing everything that fans normally expect out of a major pro wrestling company. They have a television show, pay-per-view events, merchandise, and a podcast. They also have action figures on the way that will even include a to-scale ring and a replica championship title. A video game is the logical next step, but it’s a work in progress.

Aubrey Edwards worked in the video game world prior to joining AEW. She know a lot about what it takes to code a game and make sure everything is prefect. This takes time, but they’re working on it.

Talk is Jericho recently spoke to Aubrey Edwards. She stated that an All Elite Wrestling video game is coming. She can’t talk much about it, but the project is still in the very early stages of development.

“I’m working on the AEW video game. I can’t actually talk too much about it. I don’t know what I can say. I mean, we’re very, very early on, there’s a lot of things that we’re talking about. I talk to Kenny a lot about what he wants out of it, but it’s definitely a ways out. I’m not gonna put a number on it because I don’t want the internet to get mad at me but…”

Video games take a fair amount of time to put together. They also want to make sure that the quality is up to their elite standards. After all, AEW doesn’t want a WWE 2k20 on their hands at all.
