Did WWE Tell Matt Riddle To Take Shots At Brock Lesnar & Goldberg?

Matt Riddle is extremely entertaining, especially on social media. He has enjoyed trolling Brock Lesnar in the past and recently shifted his focus to Goldberg.

Riddle has also brought up the King Of Bros nickname that WWE took away from him. This has made a lot of fans wonder if Riddle is going into business for himself of if WWE is telling him to do this. If it is at the company’s request then more could be in line for The Original Bro.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about Matt Riddle firing shots at Brock Lesnar and Goldberg. It’s not 100% clear if WWE is telling him to bring these things up, but they’re not telling him to stop.

“He is fine. They are happy. I don’t know that they have actually told him to do this, but they are not unhappy that he’s doing it and he’s not been told to stop and some people think he was told to do it. I don’t know if that’s really the case, he certainly hasn’t been told to stop and they’re not unhappy at all. I’ve heard they’re very happy actually.”

We previously reported via Brad Shepard that WWE is very happy with Matt Riddle’s performance. This seems to echo that sentiment.

Only time will tell what is next for Matt Riddle, but he seems to be doing a lot of business on social media right now that could translate into exciting stories down the line.
