WWE SmackDown Live will be picking up the pieces after the Royal Rumble as they set the stage for WWE’s next big event The Elimination Chamber. There are already two matches booked for next week’s show that will hopefully bring in some kind of an audience.

They haven’t had the best luck keeping an audience for WWE’s television shows recently. If this becomes a trend then they could be looking at tough times ahead when their television deals kick off in October.

Last week on SmackDown Live, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura teamed up to beat down R-Truth after he won the WWE United States Championship. This was controversial finish and it was done so on purpose. After their match and beatdown, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows confronted Rusev and Nakamura about how they treated Truth and challenged them to a match.

Rusev told Nakamura that he’s giving him one shot so this tag team match will happen next week.

Randy Orton and Mustafa Ali will be battling in the Elimination Chamber and they will get a chance to do battle next week as well.

On the other hand, Daniel Bryan was very upset to learn that he has to defend the WWE Title in an Elimination Chamber match in few short weeks. Now Bryan will face one of those challenger in a non-title match next week.

Daniel Bryan vs Jeff Hardy is also booked for the blue brand’s show next week. We will have to wait and see what happens, but these two matches could deliver some great action.
