Jacob Fatu has been off WWE television after getting absolutely flattened by a car, but his time on the sidelines apparently isn’t going to last much longer. In fact, WWE already has him working on material connected to what could be a pretty massive Survivor Series comeback.
According to PWInsider Elite, Fatu’s on-screen return is “not far off.” He was filming WWE material alongside other wrestlers who are expected to compete in the WarGames match at Survivor Series. And that match could be one hell of a Bloodline reunion. The current plan has Roman Reigns, The Usos, Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa teaming up against The 946 inside WarGames.
Fatu has been missing since the September 28 episode of RAW, when WWE found a pretty brutal way to get him off television. After chasing Royce Keys into the parking lot during the chaos between The Bloodline and The 946, Fatu was suddenly plowed down by a black sedan.
Jaida Parker then stepped out of the car, looked down at Fatu and made it pretty clear that the hit wasn’t exactly an accident. WWE later released footage of Fatu being loaded into an ambulance while Jimmy and Jey Uso climbed inside to ride with their cousin.
There were already signs that WWE wasn’t planning on keeping Fatu gone for months. WrestleVotes previously reported that the whole thing was essentially WWE’s way of taking him out of the Money in the Bank picture before eventually bringing him back.
Now things appear to be moving. Fatu filming material with expected WarGames participants certainly points toward WWE getting ready to put him back into the mix, and after The 946 literally ran the guy over, he won’t exactly need WWE creative to spend much time explaining why he wants revenge.
