All Elite Wrestling is making some major headlines. They signed Chris Jericho and that wasn’t an easy feat to accomplish. There is also said to be some interest in going hard after other WWE Superstars. On that note, some Superstars might be very interested in coming aboard as well.

Goldust is obviously close to WWE and AEW. He sees WWE at work, but he can’t avoid seeing his brother Cody at family functions. There is also a rumor that Goldust might want to help his brother out with AEW. While speaking to Still Real To Us, Goldust discussed not only how proud he is of Cody but he also shared his thoughts on the new company. He then explained why he thinks All Elite Wrestling will be a success.

“I can’t wait to see what he does with it. I’m very proud. I know dad right now is just grinning ear-to-ear and is very proud of Cody. Cody has a lot of my dad in him in the sense of business. He’s got just about the whole package. Let’s just put it like that. Cody has everything that dad has. He just has to grow a little more, and learn just a little bit more as far as the business is concerned”

“[Cody is] going to come across some issues with things like booking; a lot like dad did. Not everyone is going to like him because he’s the booker. If he can learn from dad’s mistakes, and what dad did, I think he’s going to be fine. The landscape of the pro wrestling industry has changed a lot. Let’s all make some money, let’s grow something and watch something take off. I think it will. You got some big people behind it. Tony Khan is a big dog.”

Goldust went on to say that one of his biggest regrets in pro wrestling is that he never had a chance to get a WrestleMania match against his brother. You never know what can happen down the line or whether that match could take place at another big event. Dusty Rhodes will still be smiling down on his boys either way.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
