All Elite Wrestling is going to be full-fledged professional wrestling company headed by the Khan Family, Cody Rhodes, and The Young Bucks. They are already discussing television deals and this could come easier given their partners in this venture.

While the Internet Wrestling Community remains abuzz concerning the recent announcement, you have to wonder what WWE thinks of the matter.

Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider Elite Audio how the most interesting part of this developing situation will be WWE’s reaction.

“I’ll be curious to see how WWE reacts to this or if they even react at all.”

Both Dave Scherer and Johnson commented that AEW is absolutely on WWE’s radar. Scherer continued saying that WWE isn’t going to show signs that they notice, but they could have ways of dealing with competition as they have in the past.

“They’re not gonna sell it, but it’s on their radar. Again if this thing starts taking off then we know WWE’s history, right? We know that if there’s something that’s gonna be competition to us, we’re gonna go to the buildings and say it’s us or them.”

Johnson then remarked saying, “There’s a reason why they didn’t go back to Madison Square Garden.”

It is true that WWE didn’t announce another date at MSG after their last live event which breaks a long-standing tradition. ROH and NJPW are holding a sold-out event during WrestleMania weekened in the World’s Most Famous Arena. Therefore, WWE could be shutting them out.

Only time will tell what tactics WWE takes in regards to how they deal with All Elite Wrestling. It could be another matter entirely on if we notice the measures they take at all. This could be a great time for a lot of wrestlers and fans alike.

It should be noted that this report greatly differs from how Vince McMahon reportedly felt about the situation in November. Thanks for sticking with us at Ringside News as we are excited about what is to come.

Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
