We previously reported how CM Punk and WWE’s doctor Chris Amaan’s court case has been delayed. Amann is asking $1 million in the libel suit against CM Punk and Colt Cabana after Punk said some things that put Amann’s medical practice into question.

The court case was set to go to trial just 3 weeks before Punk’s next scheduled UFC fight but now it is delayed and there were reports they are likely looking at settling, however that is not the case.

Mike Johnson reported on today’s installment of PWInsider Elite Audio that he has been told that Punk has no intentions on settling with Amann and a trial will kick off soon.

The trial will likely be delayed a couple of days. How long that is? I don’t know. Usually when a trial is schedule to start and suddenly they hold off for a couple of days, that is sometimes a sign that the two sides are trying to work out & negotiate some sort of settlement. We are told that is not the case and the CM Punk side is not looking to settle in any way, shape or form. The CM punk side has said they are going to trial.

As of this writing, it remains unknown when the trial will start but we will keep you updated if we receive additional information.
