the potential reunion of one of WWE’s most recognizable tag teams from the late 2010s may actually be gaining momentum behind the scenes.

After reports surfaced that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center ahead of NXT on The CW, a new update now suggests WWE has genuine interest in bringing Enzo and his former tag team partner Big Cass back together.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE does have interest in reuniting Enzo & Cass. The report also noted that the duo still maintains strong relationships with several WWE producers backstage, including people who worked closely with them during their original NXT run.

Enzo’s recent appearance at the Performance Center immediately drew attention throughout wrestling circles given his long absence from WWE. He has been away from the company since January 2018 following his controversial release after sexual assault allegations became public. The investigation was ultimately closed with no charges filed after authorities completed their review.

The new report also stated that WWE had recently made contact with Enzo, further fueling speculation that discussions may already be happening behind the scenes. Meanwhile, Big Cass — now known as Big Bill in All Elite Wrestling — could potentially become available sooner rather than later. Big Bill is still under AEW contract through at least the end of May, but his recent television inactivity has already sparked questions about his future.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion has only wrestled twice this calendar year, with his last appearance coming during a parking lot street fight on Collision back in February.

Enzo and Cass originally became breakout stars during their WWE run thanks to their charisma, crowd reactions, and instantly recognizable promos before eventually splitting apart on the main roster. Even years later, the team still carries strong nostalgia value for many wrestling fans.

At this point, there is still no confirmation that either man is officially returning to WWE television, but between Enzo’s Performance Center appearance, reported backstage contact, and WWE’s interest in reuniting the pair, speculation around an Enzo & Cass comeback is growing quickly.
