WWE is apparently not done trimming things down, because the latest round of cuts hit the office side of the company.
According to Fightful Select, more WWE office layoffs happened on Friday, June 26, 2026. Details are still thin, so there is no word yet on how many people were affected or which departments took the hit, but the timing is hard to ignore after WWE already went through a brutal stretch of roster cuts earlier this year.
“We’re told some additional WWE office layoffs happened on Friday.”
This comes after WWE released roughly 25 wrestlers on April 24, including Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Kairi Sane, Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Santos Escobar, Motor City Machine Guns, Dexter Lumis, Apollo Crews, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Andre Chase, Zoey Stark, Alba Fyre, and several developmental names. Then May brought even more exits, with names like Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and members of The New Day also parting ways with the company.
The bigger wrinkle here is Triple H’s role in the recent talent decisions. Reports have pointed to him as the one making the calls when it comes to WWE’s latest wave of releases, which makes every new cut feel like part of a bigger reshaping of the company. Now, with office layoffs happening too, this is not just about clearing roster space anymore.
WWE has not publicly explained the latest reported office layoffs, so it is unclear whether this is straight cost-cutting, internal restructuring, or another piece of the company’s post-release cleanup. Either way, people behind the scenes are now feeling the same uncertainty that talent dealt with in April and May.
What do you think about WWE making more office layoffs? Is this just normal restructuring, or does it feel like something bigger is happening behind the scenes? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
