WWE is dipping into the Australian indie scene again, and this time they are expected to bring in a full tag team.

Sean Ross Sapp, Fightful Select, and Ella Jay noted that WWE is bringing in Scott Green and The Tuckman, better known together as The Dropouts. It has not been confirmed whether the two have officially signed contracts yet, but their Australian indie dates are said to be wrapped up.

The expectation is that the WWE Performance Center will be their first stop. Green is 24 years old, while Tuckman is 25, so WWE is getting a young team with time to grow inside the NXT system.

The Dropouts already got a taste of the United States wrestling scene in May 2025. They worked two dates for Florida’s CCW and also appeared for Maine’s Limitless Wrestling. That Limitless match was a four-way that also included EK Prosper, formerly known as Eli Knight, who later made his way to WWE.

Green and Tuckman are known as a party-style tag team with big energy, loud entrances, and fan-friendly in-ring work. That kind of presentation could fit right into NXT, especially with WWE continuing to stockpile younger talent for the future.

They are also not the only names expected to arrive soon. WWE has been linked to several incoming talents, including Hiromu Takahashi, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, also known as Big Bill, and Richard Holliday. If all of those names land around the same time, NXT could be in for a pretty serious roster shakeup.

The Dropouts may not be household names to WWE fans yet, but that is usually the point with NXT. WWE gets them early, puts them through the Performance Center system, and sees what sticks. With their age, chemistry, and ready-made tag team identity, Green and Tuckman could be a team worth watching.

What do you think about WWE bringing in The Dropouts from Australia? Do you think Scott Green and The Tuckman can make noise in NXT’s tag team division? Let us know what you think in the comments.
