WWE may have just tipped its hand on what will headline both nights of SummerSlam 2026.

The company is currently advertising Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar as the featured match for Night 1, while Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins is being promoted as the featured match for Night 2. That does not officially confirm the main events just yet, but it gives fans a pretty strong idea of where WWE’s biggest focus is going for the two-night show.

That makes a lot of sense for Night 1. Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell already feels like a massive attraction, especially with Lesnar heading into U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, his adopted hometown, with Paul Heyman by his side. WWE has clearly booked Oba as a monster, and putting him across from Lesnar in that setting is about as big as it gets.

Night 2 being built around Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins is just as huge. Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Rollins brings years of history back into play, and WWE knows there is plenty to mine from their Shield connection. If that match closes the weekend, it would give SummerSlam a championship main event with serious history behind it.

This comes after reports that WWE is expected to run around 13 to 14 matches across both nights of SummerSlam 2026. With that kind of card, WWE needs each night to have a clear anchor, and these two matches are now being presented as the biggest ones.

SummerSlam 2026 will take place on August 1 and August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. WWE has not officially announced the final match order yet, but based on the current advertising, Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar looks like the centerpiece for Night 1, while Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins appears to be carrying Night 2.

Now the question is whether WWE sticks with that direction once the full card is locked in. Either way, SummerSlam 2026 is already shaping up like one of the biggest versions of the event in years.
