Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated reports that WWE allowed The Big Show’s talent contract expire back in February and he’s now signed to a new agent’s deal. The belief is that the company signed him to this deal to keep him with the company and to prevent him from working anywhere else.

“The Big Show was placed onto an agent’s deal by WWE. This prevents him from working independent shows, where he would have certainly been a draw, or even for working with Ring of Honor or New Japan.”

This news is most interesting as Big Show claimed last month that he would “definitely be back by WrestleMania.” Considering Barrasso’s recent track record, we should take this with a grain of salt until we can confirm with other sources.
