AEW fans in Philadelphia got a little extra action before Dynamite officially went live on TBS.

Prior to the May 27 Dynamite/Collision broadcast from the Liacouras Center, AEW taped several dark matches for the live crowd featuring a mix of rising names and familiar faces.

Steven Borden picked up a win over Kiran Grey in one of the opening matches before the cameras started rolling. Action Andretti also scored a victory, defeating Joey Kets in singles action.

The final dark match featured Daniel Garcia teaming with Wheeler Yuta to defeat the duo of LSG and Matt Mako.

Once the dark matches wrapped up, AEW rolled straight into a loaded Dynamite/Collision special that included MJF’s first AEW World Title defense being set for next week, Kevin Knight turning fully heel, and David Finlay and Clark Connors destroying Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.

Do you think AEW should air more of these dark matches online for fans to watch? Let us know in the comments.
