Russo is joined on today’s show by his co-host Jeff Lane and Glenn Gilbertti (Disco Inferno).

Russo opens today’s show speaking about Sami Zayn’s irresponsibility, since he threw a table top on last week’s episode of Smackdown Live which bounced and hit a fan at ringside. Russo says this ‘mark’ threw a piece of furniture at ringside with zero regard for the audience. If he was a responsible worker, he would have just thrown the table top straight to the ground.

Gilbertti says this isn’t a story, and this was simply an accident after the table top took a strange bounce on the ground and veered into the audience. Gilbertti also points out that it was Russo who booked The Rock to destroy Mick Foley with chair 1000 times during the attitude era, so he doesn’t understand why Russo’s so upset about this.

Russo says that booking a wrestling angle with two performers is completely different than irresponsibly throwing furniture into the audience.  He can’t imagine if that table top would have hit a child in the eye; it certainly would have been a bigger story then. Russo also urges Gilbertti to ask Vince McMahon if he considers this to be a non-issue, because he’s sure McMahon wasn’t patting Zayn on the back for that after Smackdown on Tuesday.
