Mara Sadè’s TNA run is officially over. A day after her final match aired on TNA iMPACT!, the former Knockout finally broke her silence, but instead of talking about leaving the company, she used the moment to give Heather Reckless her flowers.
Sadè wrestled her last TNA match on the August 6 edition of iMPACT!, putting over Heather Reckless in the Knockouts Television Championship Tournament. After the match, she took to Twitter with a message for her former opponent.
Instead of making the tweet about herself, Sadè made sure Heather Reckless got the credit. She called her “INSANELY creative” and “INSANELY hard working,” thanking her for being the last person she stepped into a TNA ring with.
“S/o @Heathereckless. Giving credit where it’s due—she’s INSANELY creative! INSANELY hard working! Thank you for my last match. #TNAiMPACT.”
This comes just days after TNA confirmed Sadè’s departure from the promotion. While reports continue linking her to both WWE and AEW, Sadè hasn’t publicly addressed what’s next or hinted at where she plans to sign.
For now, TNA Wrestling is in the rearview mirror. Wherever she pops up next, she made sure to leave on a classy note by thanking the woman who shared the ring with her one last time.
