WWE is getting ready to celebrate 30 years of The Rock, and the company has some special plans in the works, including a commemorative championship belt.

According to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, WWE intends to honor The Rock throughout November 2026 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut at Survivor Series 1996.

The celebration is expected to include several new pieces of merchandise, with a special championship belt being one of the main attractions. WWE is also planning social media campaigns looking back at The Rock’s career. There’s no word yet on what the commemorative title will look like or when it will become available, but WWE clearly wants to make the milestone a big deal.

The Rock made his WWE debut on November 17, 1996, at Survivor Series in Madison Square Garden. Back then, he was known as Rocky Maivia and competed in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match, where he ended up being the sole survivor for his team.

Of course, Rocky Maivia eventually became The Rock, one of WWE’s biggest stars during the Attitude Era. His rivalries with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H and others helped make him a household name before he went on to become a major Hollywood star. WWE previously celebrated The Rock’s 25th anniversary in 2021, so it’s no surprise that the company is preparing something special for his 30-year milestone.

There’s currently no indication that The Rock will appear on WWE television as part of the celebration. For now, the plans appear to be focused on merchandise and social media content. Ringside News will continue to keep you updated as information becomes available.

Do you think The Rock should make a WWE appearance for his 30th anniversary, or is a special championship belt and merchandise enough? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
