TNA Wrestling has now made it official: Mara Sade and Jody Threat are both gone from the company.
The promotion confirmed both departures in a statement released today, ending any remaining questions about where the two Knockouts stood. TNA wished them well and also teased that a former titleholder is returning to the division.
“TNA Wrestling today confirmed that Jody Threat and Mara Sadé have left the company. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.”
The update confirms that negotiations between Sade and TNA did not lead to a new contract. The former Jakara Jackson had continued working for the company after her previous deal expired and was still involved in the Television Championship tournament. It was previously stated that talks remained active and that Sade was expected to continue working the television tapings despite being a free agent.
Threat’s departure had already surfaced after she finished her run at the company’s Philadelphia tapings. She asked to be released from her contract, and TNA granted the request in what was described as an amicable split. Threat had only announced a new deal with TNA in January 2026, but that renewed partnership lasted just a few months before she decided to move on.
TNA did offer one piece of positive news for the Knockouts division, confirming that a former champion is on the way back. The company did not reveal the wrestler’s identity, leaving fans to speculate about who could be returning.
With Sade and Threat officially out and another former titleholder coming in, the Knockouts roster is going through another major shake-up.
