Mike Santana’s surprise WWE NXT debut didn’t just get fans talking—it also earned a public reaction from TNA.
Less than 24 hours after Santana made his shocking arrival on WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling took to Instagram to congratulate its former World Champion, sending him a message that left little doubt there are no hard feelings following his move to WWE.
“Congratulations to Mike Santana on his monumental debut on last night’s #WWENXT!”
The post quickly caught the attention of fans, as promotions haven’t always been quick to publicly celebrate former champions debuting for another major company. Instead, TNA chose to acknowledge Santana’s milestone and wish him well as he begins the next chapter of his career.
Santana made his first appearance on the July 21 episode of NXT, arriving immediately after Tony D’Angelo retained the NXT Championship against Naraku in the first-ever NXT Championship Street Fight. Walking through the crowd and staring down the champion without saying a word, Santana instantly established himself as a potential challenger for NXT’s top prize.
Shortly after the show went off the air, Santana also broke his silence on social media with a brief message of his own: “S*** just got REAL. #WWENXT.”
