Mike Santana has finally addressed his surprise arrival in WWE NXT—and judging by his first message, he already has one thing on his mind.

After making his first appearance for the brand at the end of the July 21 episode of WWE NXT, the former TNA World Champion took to Twitter with a short reaction that summed up the night’s events.

“S*** just got REAL. #WWENXT.”

The tweet came after Santana made an unexpected appearance moments after Tony D’Angelo retained the NXT Championship in the first-ever NXT Title Street Fight.

D’Angelo and Naraku closed the show with a violent main event that spilled all over the NXT Arena. Poison mist, steel steps, kendo sticks, trash cans, ladders and tables all came into play before the champion finally put Naraku away by sending him through a table for the victory.

With the match over, Tony barely had time to celebrate. Santana’s music hit, bringing the crowd to its feet as he emerged through the audience and walked straight toward the ring. Without throwing a punch or saying a word, the confrontation immediately put the champion on notice and set up what appears to be the next major program in NXT.

The arrival also marks the beginning of a new chapter for Santana following a successful run outside WWE, where he established himself as one of the top stars in TNA. Now, he’s stepping into NXT with the brand’s biggest prize already in his sights.

Tony D’Angelo survived Naraku, but by the end of the night, the champion had a completely different problem standing in front of him.
