WWE NXT Results (7/21/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcoming us.

We then see Robert Stone talking to an official backstage regarding Tony D’Angelo’s NXT Championship defense tonight. He says Tony D’Angelo and Naraku can’t touch each other before the main event. Thea Hail then walks up to the NXT General Manager and says she wants to talk to him. Nattie then interrupts them and says she’s tapping out Jaida Parker again tonight. Nattie and Thea Hail then get into an argument. Nattie then says she is ending Jaida Parker and walks off.

Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Saquon Shugars follows. DarkState then make their way down to the ring next.

6-Man Tag Team Match: Saquon Shugars, Romeo Moreno and “Supernova 11” Noam Dar vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin and Cutler James)

The match starts off with both teams brawling outside the ring. Dion Lennox then clotheslines Saquon Shugars. Noam Dar then takes the fight to Lennox and punches him. Shugars then comes in. Lennox then tags Osiris Griffin in and both men are going back and forth. Griffin then slams Shugars into the mat. Cutler James is now the legal man and he hits an upper cut before tagging Griffin in. Romeo Moreno and Dar then take down Griffin. All three members of DarkState are now down and out.

Shugars then clears the commentary desk, but DarkState send him into the hardest part of the ring. Back in the ring, Lennox pounds away at Dar. Lennox then hits an Irish whip and he drives his shoulder into the midsection of Dar. Lennox then hits a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. James is now the legal man and he continues the beatdown on Dar. Griffin then comes in and he helps James nail Dar with an uppercut. He then follows it up with a springboard Splash for a near fall. Lennox then enters the fray and he applies a rear chin lock in the middle of the ring. He then sends himself into the post.

Shugars then comes in and he slides through the ropes, taking out Lennox. Shugars then hits a crossbody to DarkState. He then sends Griffin to the outside and hits a Falcon Arrow to James. Lennox then breaks the fall. Lennox and Shugars are now going back and forth. Shugars then sends Lennox over the top rope and to the floor. James then hits Shugars with a backbreaker. The fight then spills to the outside. Moreno then launches himself over the top rope, wiping out everybody. Shugars then sends Lennox into the barricade. Back in the ring, Moreno runs into a big boot. Griffin and James then hit a double team move to Moreno for the win.

After the match, Lennox and Shugars are still fighting each other. Officials then make their way out to separate them.

We then see several women in the locker room and Lizzy Rain complains about losing last week. She then says she didn’t expect it to be so chaotic. Thea then says she hasn’t been able to talk to Stone. Skylar then talks about facing Raina tonight. Jaida then says she has Nattie. Kendal then says the problems are due to Jaida. Wren then tries to calm her down.

WWE NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey then makes her way down to the ring and she is accompanied by Wren Sinclair. Lola Vice then makes her way down to the ring as well. Kendal Grey starts off by saying it would have been nice to run it back with Kelani Jordan, but she was glad to see Lola Vice win. Vice then asks if she can prove it was a fluke. Vice then says she worked way too hard for too long to step to the side. Vice then says she told Grey that she would rule the women’s division one day when she’s done, but she’s not done yet. Vice then says Vice City continues to grow and she took every setback to the chin and kept moving forward.

Grey then admits Vice became everything that everyone said she could be, but then she ran into her. Vice then reminds Grey that she told the WWE Universe that she looked at her and she looked at a champion. Vice then says all she saw at Grey was someone who needed a validation. Grey then says she doesn’t need a validation as the NXT Women’s Championship is her validation. She then says she didn’t need years to prove that she belonged here and she won’t apologize for that. Vice then says we will see how long it takes for it to end. Vice then says even without a title she is a champion. Vice then says you are shy, insecure and vulnerable. Grey then says she is not weak. She then says she is honest with herself and everyone else. She then says no one can beat her at her best.

She then says for one night and for one night only you were the better woman for three second. She then says you can’t beat her in a fight. Grey then says she knows where Vice is going. Grey then says what better way to prove herself as a champion. Vice then says Grey will be exposed. Vice then says you can have an extra week and we can meet in the Underground. Vice then tells Grey she should be nervous. Grey then says after she kicks Vice’s ass, she can go and shake it again.

We then get a video package for Tony D’Angelo and Naraku.

Keanu Carver then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Hank Walker follows with Tank Ledger.

Singles Match: Hank & Tank’s Hank Walker vs. Keanu Carver

The match starts off with Hank Walker bringing the fight to Keanu Carver. Carver then sends Walker into the corner. Walker then hits a series of rights. Walker then hits Carver in the midsection. Carver then sends Walker over the top rope and to the floor. Back in the ring, Walker hits Carver with a Bossman Slam for a near fall. Carver then hits a backbreaker to Walker. Carver then tosses Walker across the ring. Carver then sends Tank Ledger into the steel steps. Walker then hits a suicide dive and Carver is down.

The fight then spills to the outside. Walker then sends Carver into the post. Back in the ring, Walker hits a running elbow. Walker then heads to the top rope and launches himself, but Carver moves out of harm’s way. Carver then hits his finisher to Walker for the win.

After the match, Keanu Carver kicks Hank and Tank punches Keanu and they go to the floor. Keanu then sends Tank into the apron and he hits a back drop driver onto the announce desk. Keanu then grabs the chairs and EK Prosper stops Keanu and hits a double stomp. Hank and Tank then hit the Malachi Crunch and a power slam. They then hit a flying shoulder tackle combination. EK then hits a moonsault to Keanu.

We then see Nattie stop to talk to Thea. Nattie says she will help Thea if she wants to be relevant again. Nattie then says she can do a lot for Thea because what you are doing isn’t working. Nattie then says you can aspire to be a champion or a soft b***h like Jaida Parker. Thea then says she doesn’t respect Nattie.

We then take a look at Shiloh Hill with Danhausen. Hill says he is looking for some help with Tristan Angels. Hill then says he is looking for a replacement tooth. Danhausen then looks for the perfect tooth and he gives it to Hill. Hill then asks if Danhausen will accept Bitcoin.

Jaida Parker then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Nattie follows with Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons.

Singles Match: “The Lowkey Legend” Nattie vs. Jaida Parker

The match starts off with Jaida Parker hitting a takedown. Parker then pounds away at Nattie. Nikkita Lyons then gets on the apron, allowing Nattie to take control. Nattie then slaps the taste out of Parker’s mouth and Parker does the same. Parker then hits Nattie with a series of clotheslines. Parker then chops Nattie and she hits Nattie with a hip attack. Parker then goes for a Hip-notic, but Karmen Petrovic drags Nattie to the outside. Parker then slides through the ropes, taking out Petrovic. Nattie then attacks Parker from behind and chops her down.

Nattie then continues to target Parker’s injured left knee. Parker is now favoring her knee. Nattie then sends Parker’s left leg into the post. Nattie then applies a Figure-Four leg lock on the post and Parker is screaming in pain. Nattie then continues to work on Parker’s injured knee. Parker then tries to fight back, but Nattie puts her down. Parker then applies a submission move to Nattie, but Nattie fights out of it. Nattie then goes for a Sharpshooter, but Parker escapes. Nattie then hits a clothesline.

Nattie then hits a dragon screw and Parker is screaming in pain. Parker then hoists Nattie up and hits her with a Samoan Drop. Parker’s knee just gives out. Both women then trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Parker then hits Nattie with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. Parker then misses a hip attack. Nattie then hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Nattie then applies a Sharpshooter, but Parker moves out of the ring to break the submission. Parker then sends Nattie into the steel steps. She is now favoring her knee. Parker then chops Nattie down and she applies a Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Nikkita Lyons is worried about Nattie and she throws in a towel, forcing the referee to call for the bell.

After the match, Thea Hail is at the announce desk and she acts like she didn’t throw in the towel.

We then get another video package for the main event.

We then see Robert Stone on the phone and he is happy with what happened. Kelani Jordan then shows up and says she wants Stone to watch a video where she claims she was robbed. Stone then says it is borderline and the referee’s decision is final. Kelani then says she is screwed over once again. Nima and Price then show up and they have a match next week. They then says they need to figure out what show Bronco is on because he is on both brands. Price then tells Nima to let him know his decision.

Niko Vance then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night with Izzi Dame and Shawn Spears follows. Spears is standing behind Vance and he sends Vance over the top rope and to the floor.

Singles Match: Shawn Spears vs. Niko Vance

The match starts off with Spears sending Vance face-first into the apron. Vance then fights back and sends Spears over the steel steps. Vance then flies through the air, but Spears hits him in the midsection. Spears then hits a chop before sending Vance back into the ring. Vance then runs over Spears. Spears and Vance are now exchanging chops in the middle of the ring. Spears then pounds away at Vance. Vance then hits a clothesline. Vance then drives his elbow into Spears. Vance then sends Spears into the corner, but Spears hits a clothesline.

Spears then hits Vance with an elbow and he follows it up with a suplex on the floor. Vance then slams Spears to the mat. Back in the ring, Vance continues his beatdown on Spears. Vance then hits Spears with a backbreaker. Vance then hits a right hand. Spears then rolls out of the ring and he falls into the feet of Izzi Dame. The fight then spills to the outside again. Spears then tries to fight back and he sends Vance onto the hardest part of the ring. Vance then plants Spears on the apron. Back in the ring, Vance then hits a series of shoulder blocks. Vance then runs into a big boot.

Spears then sends Vance over the top rope and to the floor. He then collapses in the ring. Vance then heads to the top rope, but Spears pulls him from the top. Spears then hits a series of chops and he follows it up with a short-arm clothesline. Vance then hits a headbutt. Vance then hits Spears with a DDT for a near fall. Vance then sends Spears to the outside. Spears then hits right hands to Vance. Back in the ring, Spears brings a steel chair. Dame then gets on the apron, but Lizzy Rain trips her up. Spears then pulls a fast one by tossing a chair to Vance and the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, officials rush to the ring to stop Vance and Vance says this isn’t over.

We then see Robert Stone ask Kam Hendrix how he is doing, but Kam says he had a set back. Myles Borne then shows up and says that Kam is a coward. He then says he wants to do a reunion and go for a tag title match. Kam then tells Myles he has to defend the North American Title. Myles then says he will defend the title next week if he can get a tag title match. Kam then says he is fully healthy. Stone then makes the match for next week.

We then see Reina Volcan and she says while you look at the beauty, you miss the fire beneath.

Skylar Raye is already in the ring for the next match of the night and Reina Volcan makes her way down to the ring.

Singles Match: Reina Volcan vs. WWE LFG season two winner Skylar Raye

The match starts off with both women locking up. Reina Volcan then overpowers Skylar Rae and slams her down to the canvas. Raye then applies a side headlock, but Volcan hits a shoulder tackle. Volcan then follows it up with a Powerslam for a near fall. Raye then brings the fight to Volcan and she hits a flying elbow. Raye then hits a backbreaker and she follows it up with a rolling senton. Raye then hits a flying elbow drop for another near fall. Volcan then misses an elbow drop. Raye then hits a shoulder tackle. Raye then heads to the top rope, but Volcan pulls her from the top rope. Volcan then hoists Raye up and applies the Natural Disaster for the win.

We then see Robert Stone having a snack and Shiloh Hill shows up and he asks if Hill is cursed. Hill then says this side of him has been inside him for a long time. He then says Angels tried to embarrass hm. He then says the fog is coming for Tristan. Stone then suggests they have a match next week and Hill is excited.

We then see a vehicle arrive at the building.

It is then announced that next week Shiloh Hill faces Tristan Angels, Kam Hendrix faces Myles Borne for the NXT North American Title and Lizzy Rain faces Izzi Dame.

Naraku then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Tony D’Angelo follows.

WWE NXT Championship Street Fight: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Naraku

The match starts off with Naraku spraying Tony D’Angelo with a poison mist. Naraku then sends D’Angelo over the top rope and to the floor. The fight then spills to the outside. Naraku then sends D’Angelo into the barricade. Naraku then sends D’Angelo into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Naraku hits D’Angelo with then steel steps. Naraku then brings a trash can into the ring. D’Angelo then tries to fight back, but Naraku slams him down to the canvas. Naraku then hits a suplex, sending D’Angelo crashing into a chair that was set up. Naraku then tries to stomp D’Angelo on the steel chair, but D’Angelo moves out of harm’s way.

Naraku then goes for a powerbomb, but D’Angelo hits him a back body drop to send Naraku onto the steel chair. D’Angelo then sends Naraku into the barricade and both men are down and out. Both men are now brawling all over the arena and they take the fight into Gorilla position. D’Angelo then hits a snap suplex on Naraku to the floor. D’Angelo then brings out a crowbar and he punishes Naraku with it. The fight then spills to the outside again and Naraku sends D’Angelo into the post. D’Angelo then throws a ladder right into the face of Naraku and the referee is checking on him. D’Angelo then pulls out a table.

D’Angelo then sends Naraku right into the trash can in the corner for a near fall. Naraku then hits a clothesline, sending D’Angelo over the top rope and to the floor. D’Angelo then hits Naraku with the ladder again. D’Angelo then goes for a Powerbomb, but Naraku hits Enter the Abyss on the floor. Naraku then sends D’Angelo crashing through the table. Back in the ring, Naraku goes for another mist spray, but DD’Angelo blocks it. D’Angelo then pokes Naraku in the eye and he is blindsided. D’Angelo then punishes him with a kendo stick and he follows it up with a low blow. D’Angelo then hits his Dead to Rights finisher, sending Naraku crashing through the table for the win.

After the match, D’Angelo celebrates his win. Mike Santana then shows up in the crowd and he stares D’Angelo down as D’Angelo holds up his WWE NXT Championship and the show comes to a close.
