Tessa Blanchard didn’t waste time finding another landing spot after leaving TNA.

Vampiro revealed during an interview with Wrestling Epicenter that Blanchard is now part of what he is building, making it clear he sees her as a major pickup. That is the new piece here. TNA is in the rearview, CMLL was already a better fit, and now Blanchard has another gig on the table.

“We’ve got Tessa Blanchard! I’ve met her a few times. I have seen her work. I’m a fan of her work. I think she will be a great addition to what we want to do. There are other guys too that we have that maybe haven’t quite signed yet that I can’t announce until they do. But, this is a big deal, man!”

Tessa was already tied closely to CMLL, but Vampiro’s comments show she is not just relying on one place after her TNA run ended. The move also lines up with what was already going on behind the scenes. CMLL was booking Blanchard more often and paying her more than TNA, based on what sources claimed. Blanchard also liked the creative side better in CMLL, which made the choice even easier.

CMLL was not just giving her more dates and better money. It was also becoming stricter about talent promoting rival brands, even if those wrestlers were not under full contracts. That put Blanchard’s TNA status in a bad spot. It was previously noted she was under a three-year deal with TNA, but the company let her out around the halfway point.

So now the picture is pretty clear. Blanchard’s TNA run ended early, CMLL was already giving her more of what she wanted, and Vampiro is now openly saying she is part of his plans too.

Tessa Blanchard may be done with TNA, but she is not done working. If anything, her calendar looks like it is opening up in a way that fits her better than what she had before.
