What first looked like an isolated crypto scam involving WWE-related personalities is now becoming a much bigger problem, as Tama Tonga’s Twitter account was also compromised today.

The latest situation comes after suspicious crypto-style posts previously appeared on accounts connected to former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz and Vic Joseph. Both accounts suddenly began posting nearly identical “trading success” messages promoting questionable crypto schemes and outside accounts.

Now the situation has gone to a whole different level. Tama Tonga’s Twitter account was hacked by a crypto scammer who began posting promotional content pushing a suspicious Solana-based crypto project called “$YEYE.” The hacked tweet tried to promote the project as some kind of exclusive opportunity while directing fans to an outside website. That wasn’t the only red flag. The hacker also locked replies on the account and blocked people, preventing users from commenting under the posts.

“No gimmicks. No fake leaders. Just $YEYE and the Solana gang 🌴🔥 Check Eligibility below 👇 http://tamatonga.team”

This comes after similar crypto-style posts appeared on accounts belonging to WWE announcer Vic Joseph and former WWE head writer Brian Gewirtz. Those posts followed the familiar scam pattern of claiming sudden trading profits or pushing outside crypto links.

With Tama Tonga’s account now involved, the situation looks less like an isolated post and more like another example of wrestling-related accounts being targeted by scammers. For now, fans should avoid clicking any suspicious links posted from compromised-looking accounts until the rightful owner regains control.
