Liv Morgan may be heading to the Queen of the Ring finals, if WWE’s internal listing for SmackDown holds up.
The June 19 episode of WWE SmackDown already has a loaded card, but one match now has a major spoiler attached to it. Liv Morgan is scheduled to face Charlotte Flair in a Queen of the Ring semifinal, with the winner moving on to the tournament finals.
According to Fightful Select, Liv Morgan is listed to defeat Charlotte Flair and advance.
“Liv Morgan is listed to defeat Charlotte Flair and advance to the finals of Queen Of The Ring.”
That is a big one, because Charlotte Flair vs. Liv Morgan is one of the biggest matches on tonight’s SmackDown card. IYO SKY already punched her ticket to the Queen of the Ring finals earlier this week on RAW after defeating Raquel Rodriguez, so this result would set up Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY in the finals.
SmackDown will also feature Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther, with Sami Zayn serving as special guest referee. Jey Uso is also set to face Je’Von Evans in a King of the Ring semifinal match, while Carmelo Hayes battles Ricky Saints in a #1 contender’s match for the United States Championship. R-Truth and Damian Priest will also defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The MFT’s Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga.
WWE SmackDown airs tonight from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, starting at 8 PM ET on USA Network.
