The show opens up with Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcoming us as we see the pre-show arrivals of Finn Bálor, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Tatum Paxley, Lash Legend, Nia Jax and Giulia.
We then get a video package of Trick Williams and Baron Corbin ahead of their Steel Cage Match tonight.
WWE United States Champion Trick Williams then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Baron Corbin follows.
WWE United States Championship Steel Cage Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin
The match starts off with both men locking up and trading strikes. Trick Williams then hits a spinning heel kick and Baron Corbin goes down face-first. Williams then hits a thunderous chop. Williams then stomps down on Corbin in the corner. Corbin then sends Williams into the steel structure. Corbin then smashes Williams from behind. Corbin then hits clubbing blows right into the back of Williams. Corbin then sends Williams to the mat for a near fall. Corbin then sends Williams to the other side of the steel structure. Corbin then unloads on Williams. Williams then goes for a roll-up, but Corbin kicks out and he sends Williams into the steel cage.
Corbin then looks to escape the cage, but Williams stops him and drops him to the canvas for a near fall. Corbin then hits a snap suplex. Corbin then hits some clubbing blows into Williams’ chest. Williams then hits Corbin with a neckbreaker. Williams then looks to escape the cage. Corbin then meets up with Williams there. Both men are then battling it out on top of the cage and Corbin is trying to retreat. Corbin then drags Williams back into the steel cage. Corbin then hits a suplex off the top of the cage for a near fall. Corbin then tries to escape, while Williams asks the referee to open the door. Corbin then kicks the door into the face of Lil Yachty. Williams then hits a Trick Kick for a near fall.
Corbin then clotheslines Williams. Corbin then hits Williams with a Chokeslam and both men are down. Corbin then looks to escape through the door, but Lil Yachty shuts the door in his face. Williams then hits Corbin with a Trick Shot, but Corbin survives. Corbin then sends Williams into the steel cage and he follows it up with a German Suplex. Corbin then hits Williams with a Deep Six for a near fall. Williams then sends Corbin into the steel cage and he follows it up with a Book End. Williams then hits Corbin with a second Book End. Williams then hits Corbin with a third Book End for the win.

We then see Cathy Kelley in the backstage area and she is with Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Legend says she isn’t worried about Giulia or Charlotte Flair. Nia Jax then showers praise on Lash Legend. Lash Legend then asks Nia Jax to take over the interview. Lash Legend then vows to win the Money in the Bank briefcase and bring the WWE Women’s Championship to the Irresistible Forces.
We then see Nick Aldis walking up to CM Punk backstage. Aldis says he wants Punk in his office and Punk wonders if he’s in trouble.
We then see Nick Aldis and CM Punk and Kevin Owens is in the room as well. Nick Aldis says he wants them to settle things once and for all. Aldis then says he can’t have this bleed over into Money in the Bank. CM Punk then asks Owens to stay out of his way. Kevin Owens then brushes him off and walks off.
We then see Chelsea Green panicking in the backstage area ahead of their match and Tiffany Stratton and Paige try to clam her down. Nikki Bella then walks up to Chelsea Green and calls her a joke. Bella then says Chelsea Green is an idiot for listening to Paige. Bella then says she doesn’t care if Chelsea Green has Paige or Tiffany Stratton protecting her. Bella then says she wants the WWE Women’s Championship. Paige and Tiffany Stratton then come back to send Nikki Bella away.
Charlotte Flair then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
