WWE isn’t wasting any time getting into business on the September 21, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW. An early rundown for tonight’s show has revealed which Superstar is currently scheduled to kick things off in San Antonio, and WWE is going straight back to one of the biggest stories coming out of Mexico City.
According to Viper Reports’ early rundown for the September 21 episode of RAW, Penta is currently scheduled to open the show with his previously announced segment. As always with an early WWE rundown, the order can change before or even during the live broadcast.
Penta already had plenty to talk about tonight after coming up short against Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. He pushed Reigns to the limit during the September 14 RAW main event in Mexico City before Roman finally put him away with a Superman Punch and Spear. The loss didn’t exactly send Penta crashing back down the card either. Ringside News previously noted that Penta’s performance against Roman Reigns left a strong impression behind the scenes in WWE, and now WWE is apparently giving him the first microphone of the night.
That makes the opening especially interesting because Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship picture already has another problem waiting for him. LA Knight attacked Reigns after last week’s show, and WWE has since made Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight official for Money in the Bank on October 10.
Penta isn’t the only major piece of tonight’s RAW either. Bayley will finally get Lyra Valkyria one-on-one after returning earlier this month and costing Valkyria her Money in the Bank qualifier, while two more Money in the Bank qualifying matches are also set for the show.
The currently announced lineup for tonight includes:

- Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
- Dragon Lee vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Dominik Mysterio in a Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
- Iyo Sky vs. Roxanne Perez vs. La Catalina in a Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
- LA Knight to speak
