Bayley is officially back on WWE television, and she didn’t waste any time going after Lyra Valkyria. During the September 7, 2026 episode of WWE RAW, Bayley made her return during the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match between Valkyria, Sol Ruca and Maxxine Dupri — and immediately threw the whole thing into chaos.
Valkyria appeared to have the match won after hitting Maxxine Dupri with the Night Wing, but Bayley suddenly appeared and yanked the referee out of the ring before the three-count. Valkyria looked stunned by Bayley’s arrival, and that hesitation cost her. Sol Ruca caught Valkyria with the Sol Snatcher moments later and picked up the victory to qualify for Money in the Bank.
Bayley wasn’t finished once the bell rang. After the match, Bayley started unloading punches on Valkyria before taking the fight outside the ring. She then tried to set Valkyria up to put her through a table, but Valkyria managed to escape before Bayley could finish the job.
The return comes after Bayley had been away from WWE television since losing to Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18. Valkyria attacked Bayley after that match, giving WWE the storyline reason to write her off television.
Bayley did wrestle once during her absence at a July 26 live event in Bakersfield, California, but she hadn’t appeared on WWE programming since. Last week, creative pitches were already being discussed for Bayley on RAW, making it clear her comeback was getting close. There had also been plenty of questions about Bayley’s WWE future, but the belief within the company was that she had already signed a new deal.
Now there’s no more wondering when Bayley is coming back. She returned, cost Lyra Valkyria a Money in the Bank opportunity and then tried to put her through a table. Bayley didn’t come back looking for a reunion — she came back looking for revenge.
