Ric Flair decided to put his insane career workload next to some other retired WWE greats, and The Nature Boy’s match count absolutely dwarfs the competition.

Flair took to Instagram on August 22, 2026, and shared a graphic comparing how many matches he wrestled before retirement with Brock Lesnar, Triple H, John Cena and Randy Orton.

The graphic listed Brock Lesnar at 445 matches, Triple H at 1,990, John Cena at 2,329 and The Undertaker at 2,502. Flair’s number was on another level entirely, with the 16-time world champion listed as having wrestled 5,007 matches before calling it a career. Seeing the massive difference apparently gave Flair a chance to look back at just how much time he spent inside the ring.

“I must have lost track of the time. Time flies when you’re having fun! WOOOOO!”

The comparison puts Flair’s schedule into perspective. Even The Undertaker, who had the second-highest total on the graphic at 2,502 matches, was still sitting at roughly half of Flair’s career number.

Triple H and Cena also spent decades in WWE, but neither came close to Flair’s total according to the graphic. Lesnar’s 445 matches were even further behind, reflecting a career that included lengthy stretches away from professional wrestling and years working a limited schedule.

Flair came up during a completely different era, when top wrestlers regularly worked several nights per week and traveled from town to town with very little downtime. By the time his career finally wrapped up, those nights had piled up into a number that makes even the careers of other retired WWE legends look short by comparison.
