Paige Collett was asked to model some merchandise for a friend, but there was one small problem. The only thing she received was a hat, so she decided that was apparently all she needed.
The JCW and NWA talent took to Instagram and uploaded several revealing photos of herself posing in nothing but the hat. Collett joked that being the only professional model in her friend group meant she was going to make the most out of the one piece of merchandise she was given.
The hat belonged to wrestler Matt Cross, whom Collett tagged in the post. Instead of putting together an outfit around it, she went with a birthday-suit approach while strategically posing for the photos.
“When you’re the only professional model in the friend group & they asked you to wear their merch! Ok bet, say less!! I was only sent a hat…but I’ll model the F out of this hat!!! @mdoggmattcross 💙”
The post comes after Collett recently opened up about the attention her appearance receives online. Speaking with Big Vito on The Big Vito Brand, she pushed back against speculation that plastic surgery was responsible for her body transformation.
Collett revealed that she had once weighed 300 pounds and was confined to a wheelchair before learning to walk again and losing 135 pounds. She said her transformation happened without cosmetic procedures, weight-loss surgery or medication.
“I want to remind people that I imploded. I didn’t take any shots, I didn’t take any medicines or have any surgeries to look this way, or weight-loss surgeries or anything like that. I organically molded my body into this, and I’m thankful for the compliments.
People compliment me and want to know, ‘Have you had plastic surgery?’ It’s like, no. Also, with my disease, with CRPS, I can’t have surgeries. I never had plastic surgery, and I still can’t have plastic surgery even if I wanted it. I don’t shame anyone who does have it. If you want it, that’s awesome—get it. But I personally can’t, and people think I have.”
Collett was only sent a hat, and she certainly found a way to make sure nobody overlooked it. Whether Matt Cross expected quite this much commitment to the modeling assignment is another question.
