Paige Collett is showing off a little skin for a cause, and the JCW wrestler has a pretty good reason to celebrate. She’s officially gone 56 days without sugar, and she’s using some revealing new photos to bring attention to her ongoing battle with chronic illness.
On October 19, Collett took to Twitter and shared two provocative photos of herself posing in black lace underwear, including one in black and white. But this wasn’t just about getting attention. She used the post to celebrate her progress with cutting sugar from her diet while spreading awareness about Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, or CRPS.
“🧡Today’s Day 56 without sugar #crpsawareness 🧡”
Collett has been open about trying different ways to manage her condition, and she says cutting sugar from her diet has been helping her deal with the illness. Her latest post puts her nearly two months into that effort, although she hasn’t shared exactly what foods she’s eliminated or how much her symptoms have changed.
The photos come just one day after Collett fired back at people judging her for smoking medical marijuana. She explained that cannabis has played a major role in helping her manage chronic pain and continue pursuing her wrestling career, despite strangers assuming she’s simply out partying.
“People see me smoking and judge me & typecast me! I’m a strong advocate for medical marijuana. It has saved my life and it lets me continue to pursue my wrestling dream.”
Collett’s health struggles have been anything but easy. As Ringside News previously covered, she says a wrestling bump during training under WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi triggered the condition, eventually leaving her dependent on a wheelchair. She spent years searching for answers before fighting her way back to walking and wrestling. She’s also opened up about how CRPS affects her personal life, explaining that even physical intimacy can leave her dealing with days of pain and recovery.
Now Collett is trying another approach to managing her health, and she’s clearly proud of sticking with it for 56 days. Whether cutting sugar will continue helping her symptoms remains to be seen, but she’s using the milestone to get people talking about CRPS while giving her followers something else to look at.
Collett has already spent years fighting to get her life and wrestling career back, so she’s not taking the small victories for granted. And if posting a few steamy photos gets more eyes on a condition she’s been battling for years, she apparently has no problem putting that attention to good use.
