Rebel had some good company this week as she continues her fight with ALS.
Mick Foley shared a photo on social media Friday, showing himself spending time with Rebel, whose real name is Tanea Brooks, and Britt Baker. All three were wearing AEW’s “Rebel Heart” bracelets, which were released to help raise money for ALS support organizations.
Foley made it clear he was having a great day with them, even if they had him watching something he did not expect to enjoy.
“REBEL HEART! Having the BEST day, visiting with @rebeltanea & @realbrittbaker – who are FORCING me to watch [Love Island]….which I’m kind of addicted to now!”
Rebel announced this week that she has joined I Am ALS as an ambassador. The group is a patient-led organization focused on pushing for faster action, policy changes, and support for people battling the disease.
AEW is also helping with the cause. Profits from the company’s “Rebel Heart” bracelet and T-shirt sales will be donated to I Am ALS and Team Gleason, another charity that supports people living with ALS.
Rebel revealed her ALS diagnosis last month after dealing with serious health problems for a long time while doctors struggled to figure out what was wrong. AEW fans know her best from her on-screen partnership with Britt Baker.
Baker has also been away from AEW television since late 2024, with no official explanation. Tony Khan has said the door is open for her return, but nothing has been announced yet.
Foley recently joined AEW as a broadcaster at Double or Nothing 2026. For now, his latest AEW-related moment was not about commentary or wrestling. It was about showing up for Rebel during a very tough chapter in her life.
This was a simple but powerful moment for Rebel, Britt Baker, and Mick Foley. With AEW’s “Rebel Heart” campaign now raising money for ALS organizations, the wrestling world is rallying around Rebel when she needs it most.
